The trips were fine but I think you’re better off booking the two tours directly as it’s much cheaper, I feel a little conned to be honest

I’ve always been fascinated with Alcatraz since I was kid read many books and watched few movies. Finally being able to visit was wonderful. Actually going into one of the cells was a bit creepy but was a fantastic experience.

Alcatraz was an interesting trip. It did include a lot of walking. It was a one time experience. The Bay cruise was nice too and included a lot of awesome pic moments. I would recommend!

Very smooth process. Give clear instructions via email 2 days before. The only thing that was a bit disorganised was the fact that they didnt give a clear time for the bay cruise. So I had to wait after alcatraz which finished at 11am, until 4pm for the bay. In the mean time i did other things but if i had kids with me this would have been difficult. They only provide the time for alcatraz. The tour itself was v good and alcatraz was v organised, we had no restriction on how long we can be on the island. the boats were clean and felt safe.

As stated the bay cruise is walk up on your own schedule as you desire. It could not be any more simple to use.

On time, clean cruise, it would be good if the explanation were also given in Spanish, generally speaking a visit you should make if you go to San Francisco.

The whole experience was amazing. Super easy to get to the boat but you do need to make sure you have printed out your ticket as they don't accept showing it on your phone. The tour itself on the island was sooooo interesting and thought provoking. The staff working there are super friendly too. I would recommend this to anyone. I would also go again if I ever go back to SF.

Alcatraz was excellent, I have been wanting to visit for a very long time and I was so happy to finally get there. Going under the Golden Gate Bridge was a great way to see it.

The Alcatraz experience was great. Getting to explore the island and the ruins of this historical landmark was very interesting. I enjoyed the audio tour and the National Park staff was great.
The boat there and back to Alcatraz was well kept and the crew was friendly. However, I did not personally pick this tour experience, my friend did. I wasn’t super crazy about it. We were told our time was 9:20 AM, wish we could’ve picked our own time. Then was told we had to print some piece of paper? Didn’t even use it… no idea what it was for. I guess it was for some other boat ride but I didn’t have plans to get on a boat twice in one day, virtually doing the same thing. I guess I shouldn’t have trusted my friend to choose the tour.
I’m reading some of the tour responses to bad reviews, I am seeing a sense of attitude so that’s pretty off putting as well. Had I known better I would’ve simply booked a tour that only took me to Alcatraz and saved a few bucks.
It’s a fine tour, but I can’t comment on the second boat tour thing since I didn’t do it. Alcatraz was cool and that’s for certain.

Alcatraz was pretty cool. The audio tour definitely made it more interesting. It was very cold on the boat ride over and windy on the island. Bring a jacket or sweater for sure! Be advised…you have to walk up a very long incline to get up to the prison. Worth the trip.
The company emails you the time that you go. That did not work for us due to flight arrival. We called and they switched our time easily.
The bay cruise was completely separate. It offered really cool views of the bridge. It was freezing and rough. Inside the boat was warm and you could hear the history tour playing through the speakers.
