We went on the full day tour out to Hanksville in the Irish Canyons. Sean picked us up from our hotel, drove us out and back and it was extremely worth it. Sean was extremely knowledgeable about everything from the landscape, the mountains, the slots, the area, the plants and animals, etc. He thought us how to safely go up the canyons and then down into the slots. I felt very comfortable following his lead all day. From going through slots that aren’t much wider than my chest to descending safely down 15-20 foot drops with no ropes using the elevator “move” to repelling down 50 foot drops it was fantastic. A must do even if you don’t like heights or are semi claustrophobic.

Canyoneering in the Irish Canyons zone was the highlight of our two-week trip in the southwest. Even after a week in the red desert we were still stunned by the beauty of being deep with the slots. Sean was an amazing guide! Both my wife and I are novices when it comes to climbing / repelling and Sean was able to accommodate our skill levels while also pushing us outside our comfort zone. He also made the long drive to / from engaging and enjoyable.
Highly recommend to anyone in decent hiking shape, this was truly a once in a lifetime experience!

This was such an incredible experience! If you haven’t done anything like it, go do it!!!! James was our guide, and I fully trusted him every step of the way! He was so knowledgeable and really helped us work through our fears and nerves, that by the end we were pros!!! It was a seamless experience, these guides really know what they are doing and you can tell every step of the way!!!! Currently trying to plan the soonest I can come back and do it again!!!!

Request James - what a pro! Years and years of guiding experience. Will turn a beginner into a pro by the end of the day. I gave him a 10-item wish list and we check ALL the boxes in one day. This outfitter can't be beat!

My fiancé and I went to Moab in May and did a full day private tour. The morning of the adventure rain was in the forecast so we were offered a refund or a different canyon to hike. Our guide Sean was the absolute best we had so much fun hanging out and hiking with him. He took us to Rock of Ages and we were blown away. We still talk about this trip with him at least once a week!

An experience of a lifetime with a very patient and skilled guide…Sean. He moved at our pace and was patient and encouraging. Definitely need some energy and flexibility for this tour! We are grandparents and very proud of this achievement. Fun and challenging with a guide who knew what he was doing.

We had a great experience with our guide Sean! He was super accommodating considering lots of speed bumps that came up in our trip (changing days, weather, injury). He made sure we had the best experience possible giving us tons of different options and overall just making the experience the highlight of our trip! We got to do amazing slot canyons and cayoneering that you just can't do anywhere else. I would highly recommend tours as well as our guide! 10/10

We had a wonderful day canyoneering in the Irish Canyon with Moab Canyon Tours. Our guide, Sean, did a great job and kept us very safe. We will definitely return to Moab, and will use Moab Canyon Tours for another adventure.

We had a great day with Sean in the Irish Canyons. He tailored the day to our climbing experience and chose a perfect route for us. Best of all, he was really fun to hike with!

James is incredible! He is knowledgeable, fun, safe- the whole package! Could not have picked a better guide to spend such an adventure with. My friend and I felt safe and had a great time. The Irish canyons were incredible, truly awe inspiring.
