The crew was fantastic, so friendly. The boat is stunningly beautiful. It was foggy, very cold & windy, not ideal for a 4-hour boat ride, but they checked on guests & offered blankets & refreshments.

The captain spent extra time finding a whale for us to see. Probably wouldn’t have found one had it not been for his experience. The America is an amazing vessel. Worth the trip without seeing sea life just to have the time on this fantastic vessel.

Awesome!! We got to see a couple of whales and the whole experience was incredible! Make sure to bring some layers because it gets cold out in the open ocean.

I am writing this review for Next Sailing, not for the reason I had hoped. My wife and I were looking forward to our trip to San Diego for a week from 16 September 2024, and had booked a trip with Next Sailing.
Unfortunately, we never made it to San Diego, as we were involved in a bad car crash on the way to Heathrow Airport. My wife spending a week in hospital before we were able to get home, minus a car. On contacting Next Sailing, I spoke via text to Ashley Ignatz who could not have been more understanding and helpful, advising our trip would be refunded in full, - and appears to have been done the same day.
I can only say the service received from Next Sailing has been excellent in these unfortunate circumstances, so would not hesitate to recommend them. We hope to be able to re-book a trip to San Diego as soon as we can, as while some bookings have been lost, other are valid for a year.
As soon as we are able, I would certainly book with Next Sailing again, but in the meantime must thank Next Sailing, - and particularly Ashley -, for all their help, understanding and the excellent customer service given.

This was really an exceptional experience. The crew were top notch, always focused on safety while also being engaging and entertaining. One of the crew stood out, a young man just starting out in his sailing career, who filled us with information about the ship and its fascinating history as well as all the marine life and the ships and buildings that we were passing by on our way out to look for whales. Alas, we didn't spot any whales, but it was still a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in San Diego.

This experience is so worth it. We got to see sea lions, a Merlin, and a pod of dolphins who gave us a show swimming and jumping out of the water. Who doesn’t love a boat ride on a ginormous beautiful boat on a perfect weather day? The crew are great, especially Noah who gave us a lot of education and information while we were on the water. We look forward to returning.

The crew and the overall sailing experience was great and although we weren’t lucky on that day to see whales we got the opportunity to always come back and go on another tour.

The crew were all nice and helpful. I never used the bathroom, but the rest of the boat was very tidy. There were free snacks, water, and soft drinks, but we were allowed to bring our own food. Be sure to bring sunscreen and a jacket. We saw lots of dolphins, a whale, and lots of sea birds.

Is there a price for singles? As far as I can see, There are no tours which start at 9:00. Is this accurate?

It is a 4 hour tour on a sail boat. they only run once a day sailing out at 1100. The price was $85/adult. They do offer discounts for active and retired service members.

This is a dolphin and whale watching tour. We saw hundreds of dolphins in a pod that was so powerful that I would’ve been happy even if we hadn’t seen Whales. It’s well worth the trip
