The ship is very clean and spacious. The ride was smooth. The staff and the captain were very friendly and informative. We were able to see some fun wildlife and overall experience was great.

Didn’t see whales unfortunately but lots of dolphins. Super nice crew members and great experience in general. Snacks, drinks and blankets provided.

Got a rough day on the water and most passengers were sick. I did not see a whale and my husband only saw one for about 2 seconds. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, but overall not worth the upset stomach the rest of the day and the next.

This was lame. We were told to get there 30 minutes early for boarding and we stood in the sun, in line, for an hr! They promise you whales, but in the same breath, they relay that they are nocturnal. We did see dolphins. They served alcohol 3 miles off shore. The BREACHER was fantastic. Then they offered a $20 package of photos from the trip (not!) At the end. Waste of time and $$$.

It is unfortunate that this customer did not have a good time during their trip. There are several statements that are inaccurate. Check in starts an hour prior to departure. We close check in 30 minutes prior to departure at which point we start the boarding process. We walk down to the boat and board, leaving on time, every time. Whales are not nocturnal, they come up to the surface to breath during the day and night. While we do serve alcohol, it is available once the sails are hoisted. We do not and have never sold photos during the trip. Photos that are taken are shared on our website or on our social media platforms. That said, I am sorry to hear this person felt this experience was a waste of time. They can still come back for their free trip at any time as there is no expiration date. They can redeem their tickets by calling 619-922-6215 or emailing info@nextlevelsailing.com.

No whales but it was a pleasant trip, the crew was great..many got sick, so that wasn't great. They need music on board. I like the guarantee, but in reality we will not use it...

The trip and crew were amazing, the weather was gorgeous and we saw a megapod of dolphins which we had nevef experienced before. Sad to not see any whales but that is always the luck of the draw.

Was the highlight of our vacation. Enjoyed the 4hour cruise. We got to see dolphins,whales and sea lions. Would definitely recommend going on this cruise. Well worth it. My wife and I will go again sometime.

5/5 we had a great time. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see a whale. We saw a nursery of dolphins. Crew was professional and knowledgeable. They have a guarantee you can rebook for free if there are no whales in the day of cruise. We will be back. Thank you

The ship looks amazing, it is very romantic for couples. The staff is kind and wonderful. We had the luck to see a mega pod of Dolphins, about 2000. Sadly we didn't see whales but they are honoring their word and we can come back another day on the house. Nobody usually does that, it was a great experience overall.

Is there a price for singles? As far as I can see, There are no tours which start at 9:00. Is this accurate?

It is a 4 hour tour on a sail boat. they only run once a day sailing out at 1100. The price was $85/adult. They do offer discounts for active and retired service members.

Whale watching takes place all year long as different whales have different migrations. To get the best info, google the question and you should find good, up to date info including a calendar of when various whales are expected to be seen. Enjoy!!!!
