Alfredo was awesome and funny love to go on another tour with him next time we visit San Diego he did a great job I’ll definitely go back again

The tour was very disappointing. Our tour guide was rambling and very hard to follow with respect to storytelling. There is nothing remotely spooky, and it’s more of a history tour - but his jokes were off and he never managed to tell a coherent story.. we finally left after almost 2 hours, nearly 30 minutes past when it was supposed to end, because we were quite frankly so bored. I’m just not sure what that was supposed to be.

I had originally written a review just noting that the tour was more of a local history tour than a ghost tour. Certainly not bad at all!
The tour company affirmatively reached out and mentioned their satisfaction guarantee, and suggested I ask for a refund! Wow! Refund received and they gave me two vouchers for a future. I am blown away! They have a customer for life now.
And, for you skeptics out there, they never asked me to remove the review and certainly didn't pay me to do so. Just a good company with amazing Customer service!

My 11 year old and I both had a great time on the tour. Our tour guide, Mary, was an amazing story teller and her showmanship made it that much better.
It was about an hour and a half, maybe a little more, but it was partially on a trolley and partially walking.
With any tour, I think the tour guide makes all the difference and Mary delivered!

Our host was great - she really got into character and was very knowledgeable.
The tour trolley was very comfortable and was a good mix of riding and on-foot exploring. Old Town San Diego may have been our favorite place.
Look out for Pioneer Park…

This tour definitely is not worth the $40 we paid for it. Our guide couldn't get the name of Pioneer Park correct, kept losing his train of thought, and would talk while walking so only those closest to him could hear. I recommend looking into any of the other ghost tours in the Old Town area.

I took a group of teenage Girl Scouts on the tour. In Savannah they offer Girl Scouts a discount but not in San Diego and after inquiring with Group Sales there is no discount, even when booking a private tour. Prices also go up as tickets sell, so purchase early before they increase. Our Friday night tour also sold out, so keep that in mind, don’t wait too long.
The tour guide was very entertaining and informative. This is not a scary tour at all. My Girls would have enjoyed more goosebumps than history, but my adult brain enjoyed the historical aspect. The tour is recommended for children 13 and up. It’s definitely not too scary for kids younger than 13, but it might be too boring for that maturity level. My 15/16 year-olds were fine.
Don’t forget to bring along cash or have Venmo to tip the guide at the end.

My favorite part was learning the history of the people from the past! I enjoyed our host and the tour itself. It was a fantastic way to spend the evening with friends visiting San Diego. I like that it was part trolley and part walking tour.
