marisol was amazing. we enjoyed each location and learn many new things. her expertise helped us feel safe. we enjoyed our meal, the candy samples, and a lovely coffee spot. can’t say enough to thank her - we plan to recommend her to our friends.

Overall great experience.
I only have two pieces of feedback that would allow me to give it five stars.
One: they need to let people know that they are going to have to navigate across the boarder walking on their own (send the video in the instructions).
Second: they should start the tour at 11am and plan to finish at 3pm, to miss the crowd going back into the us.
Anything have 3pm could be up to 90 minutes, as that’s crazy.

We had a fantastic afternoon with our guide Victor. He adapted the tour perfectly to our wishes and addressed all our concerns. We are very enthused and recommend this in any case! 🤩

Sehr gut organisierte Tour die einen authentischen Einblick in die Stadt bietet. Alles war sehr gut organisiert! Viel mehr kann man in der kürze der Zeit nicht erleben. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Had a great experience seeing new things, getting to learn the history of Tijuana and meeting new people. Our tour guide was Victor and he was Awesome! Tour was amazing 10/10 highly recommended!

The tour is misrepresented - the pickup location provided is in USA but when we reached there the tour operator asked us to come to Mexico on our own and meet them there. We didn’t signup for this and asked them to meet at the designated pickup point. They told us that this is how they have been operating and then we realised that the information provided by Viator is misleading. We raised our concerns with Viator since the Tour Operator didn’t refund our money but the Viator team sided with them and rejected our refund request. We paid the money trusting the information provided by Viator but never expected them to misrepresent and mislead knowingly.

Crossing the border was a bit daunting especially if you’re travelling from Europe and have never been. The experience was nonetheless the best I’ve had, we also had the best tour guide (Leia) who knew her way around the city and made it seem super safe.
We got to experience local cuisines, see popular tourist sites, bought some souvenirs and was always accommodating if any of us wanted to stop and buy anything.
Most places take dollars so there’s really no need to exchange any money, but for convenience have a lot of one dollar bills as many vendors didn’t have change.
I also bought a 1GB eSim to have some internet connection as I had no bundles with my European Sim so the eSim was convenient.
I also got my FMM stamp after you walk through the turnstile there are officers there and just ask them you’re looking for it and they’ll ask what the reason for your travel is and will stamp your passport if you’re there for the day.
Nonetheless, this was an amazing trip over the border, and couldn’t thank Leia for such an amazing tour and all the great photos she took of all of us during the trip.

Our guide, Tadeo (sp?) was the bomb. Big hearted, funny man, who knows almost everybody on the street. He went way out of his way to guide me to Tijuana Post Office so I could buy postage stamps for my collection. Tour was great, fun, & easy. Perfect intro for first-time visitor to TJ.

For several years I and my wife wanted to visit Tijuana and experience the culture there. Three times we went up-to the border at SanYsidro and turned back. This time we were determined to go and looked for assisted options. Found this 4 hour tour on TripAdvisor and thought of testing it out. And it turned out to be a great one. Between driving and walking, we chose walking and it turned to be a very wise decision.
On a Friday afternoon it was a free walk into Tijuana with no lines at all at the immigration. Our tour guide Tadeo sent text in advance of the pick-up spot. Though the tour description says the pickup spot is on the US side, it is actually on the Mexican side. We met him at the spot and waited few minutes for others in the group. The tour started soon with a little drive to the downtown and covering the most important places of Tijuana downtown. The tour guide's suggestion was right to keep the shopping wait until the end to keep the carrying of bags to the last. The tour included a spot for lunch where we got to taste the famous local tacos. Tadeo was extra careful to make a note of dietary restrictions and made sure that the food was completely vegetarian. There was an opportunity to do tequila tasting and purchase but it appeared that the store chosen was expensive. The scorpion marinated Tequila appeared gross. A majority of the stores accept both USD and Pesos as well as Visa and MasterCard. They are reluctant/refuse to accept either Amex or Discover cards. The store people of the stores that Tadeo suggested were friendly and english speaking. Based on Tadeo's advice, we did negotiate the prices quoted and got great deals.
After the tour ended, Tadeo took us back to the border in a bus and got us into the super long line. We used our Global Entry cards to get ahead of the line and avoid the long line. Tadeo was so nice to show us the GE line entrance and for giving tips to get in. While others in the group later claimed that it took 2 hours for them to pass US immigration, it took us 5 minutes to get through. So I would definitely recommend to carry the GE card. A physical card is required to be shown to be let into the GE line.
At the end of the 4 hour tour we were very glad that we booked the tour as it would be impossible to cover all those places all by oneself and without knowing Spanish. Specially thanks to the wonderful guide Tadeo for his help. I would definitely recommend this tour to first timers like us.
