We booked a 2 day tour of Niagra falls by Empire Vaccations for the 7th and 8th of September.We gathered at the 42nd Avenue at time square infront of the Port authority station and were received by a wonderful guide Uttar.She was very informative and courteous .The bus tour had multiple stops though the bus had a toilet but they stopped after 2 hrs regularly.Our tour included entry to Watkins Glen State Park where we did a beautiful hike. Then we moved on and stopped at another stop for refreshments.Then we headed for the Niagra falls on the way we crossed the finger lakes the Niagra river and as we approached the falls we could see the rapids upfront.Upon reaching the falls we took a walk upto the falls and saw the horseshoe fall, brides veil fall ,Luna island and the American falls thereafter we checked into Comfort inn at the point which was a part of our itinerary .The hotel rooms were spacious and luxurious.At night we walked down to the falls to see the list up falls and the spectacular fireworks show at pm from the American side .It was just spectacular.Today morning we went to the Observation deck and were spellbound by the beauty of the falls.We took the Maid of Mist boat ride right into the heart of the falls and were awestruck by the beauty of the falls .Then we returned to the bus for our return journey through the New York state giving us the feel of the geography of the place.We loved the tour and recommend it.

Services and hotels are great. We had a large 56 seater bus almost full. So ride was comfortable. Stoppages were as required. The falls themselves are of course outstanding. Once in a lifetime experience. Maid of the Mist very good. Not to be missed experience.

Guide was very helpful & informative- coach was comfortable and driver, Harold a great character-Plenty of loo stops :-) Overnight Hotel in Canada very comfortable and literally a few minutes walk from the falls- The only thing I have to complain about was we were not given an itinerary when we booked, so although the trip description mentioned shopping, we didn't realise until we got there that it was at a huge shopping outlet ( called Waterloo) If we had been forewarned, we could've got more organised i.e.Xmas pressies etc.- Apart from that we had a great trip and would absolutely recommend

The Good - our guide Bruno was enthusiastic, entertaining and informative and our driver Harold also did his job very well in sometimes tricky conditions. Niagara Falls are of course well worth visiting. The outlet shopping was good but akin to being in a TV game show when trying to visit multiple shops in just over an hour.
The Bad - the bus trip is very, very, very long and having dual language guides means there is a LOT of talking on the microphone. The travel lodge accommodation is basic and dated albeit a welcome respite from the cold.
The Ugly - I found the tour company to be wilfully duplicitous in our dealings and less than trustworthy. We paid the same 4x adult price for myself, my wife and 2 children but they chose to squeeze us into one room (and save on an extra room for themselves). This was despite my request for adjoining/interconnected separate rooms. The operator steadfastly refused to accommodate our request for 2 rooms (despite us paying full price) and instead suggested we had paid a reduced price to stay in one room (categorically not true). Despite booking via TripAdvisor they were also of absolutely zero assistance (massive thumbs down for them, they provide no effective method to even contact them).
If I had my time over I would fly to Canada and travel to the falls from there. It is easily the best side for viewing and the travelling would be far far less exhausting than the bus tour and you are missing nothing of note. I would definitely avoid this particular tour operator as I found them dishonest and untrustworthy.

The trip was properly organized. The bus left NY @ approx. 8.30am, our guide Tim was quite good information throughout the trip. Stops were to 1/. Corning Glass Museum, NY. Highlights were the museum itself + actual demonstration, there is nice cafeteria on site if you are hungry. 2/. Watkins Glen NY 14891 - beautiful trail, scenery, waterfalls, caves and 3rd visit of day was Niagara Falls which is beautiful at night once can see Canada wonderfully lit up on the other side.
2nd day first stop at Youngstown NY 14174 for a power boat ride on the river which borders Canada and the USA . Next stop was to Old Fort Niagara - historic Fort built by the French, won over by the British and finally by the USA. 3rd and final stop was the "Maid of the Mist" boat ride giving a wonderful view of Niagara Falls (prepare to get wet). Would recommne it if you are up for a long, fun filled bus ride.

Well organised and tour guides were great. Enough stops along the way to make the long journey interesting and to fulfill my terrible smoking habit. 6 or so hours went by very quickly. Niagara Falls were unbelievably powerful and I'm sure that being with a bus tour we went to areas that we may not have seen were we left to our own devices. Hotel on the Canadian side of the Falls was also great. All in all a brilliant tour.

Ci hanno affascinato le cascate e la scelta del bus con la guida è stata ben fatta. Il viaggio è lungo ma si vede un po' del territorio, si costeggia il lago Seneca e la guida, la nostra era Lucia, ben preparata e molto disponibile, racconta un po' la storia di quella parte di paese. Tappa al parco nazionale Watkins Glent molto apprezzata. Avendo scelto l'autunno eravamo in pieno periodo di "fogliage"! Albergo bello ed abbastanza vicino alle cascate per poter andare a vederle illuminate in versione notturna. Al mattino giro con la "maid of the mist" e sul ritorno tappa all'outlet. Bello e rilassante!

Estoy interesada en realizar esta excursión, pero tengo dudas con los requisitos para entrar en Canadá con la excursión. He mirado en los requisitos de la página oficial del Gobierno de Canadá y se supone que siendo español y entrando por tierra con la excursión, se necesita el pasaporte y la pauta de vacunación completa, sin embargo en lo que tienen puesto en la web indican certificado COVID con 72 horas de validez. ¿Pueden aclararme este aspecto?

We stayed at Travelodge Hotel which was far enough from the city noise but only 15minutes walk from the waterfall. Nice hotel, organised by the tour company and it was included in tour (which I don't remember how much it cost). It was worth every penny tho. :)
