Absolutely awesome experience, seeing the city from such a different perspective. From the moment we arrived the team were so friendly and helpful. Adrian the pilot was brilliant, super knowledgeable and friendly, plus gave us a super smooth ride.
Would highly recommend HeliNY to anyone who is looking to do a tour in the skies of one of the best cities in the world.

A trip to New York from England was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us. My son had been eager to visit since he was 5years old, so before he turned 12 I decided to take him. I booked the tour with HeliNY as a surprise for him. Absolutely incredible. Everything is SO WELL ORGANISED. There are people to check you in, people to show you where to store your belongings, people to show you a safety demonstration, people to provide you with your safety equipment, they really have got everything covered, which completely puts your mind at rest as a first time helicopter traveller like myself!
Once we had watched the safety video a couple of times, we were grouped with others that we would take our flight with and introduced to our pilot. He escorted us to the helicopter, which again is extremely well organised with your utmost safety in mind. You can have photos with the Helicopter before boarding which were later available to purchase. They also had other things available to buy such as pens, hats etc. My son went to town!
We were seating according to weight and then we were off!
Our pilot was extremely informative, pointing out iconic attractions and views for us all, PLUS the flight bypassed all these things on both sides of the helicopter... so if you were sat at the wrong window the first time you passed it, you'd see it on the way back round. Such a good way of making sure everyone on the trip had a fantastic view.
After your flight
A flight with HeliNY was a no-brainer for me, New York is an iconic city so why not see it from all angles!!
Yes it's expensive, but absolutely without-a-doubt 100% worth it.
Fantastic memories for my son. I mean, a helicopter tour over NYC at age 12 is pretty frickin cool.

Fantastic way to see NYC, all the team are very friendly & the whole operation is seem less.

All is very well organized. Staff was nice. All is secured and well orchestrated.
The tour lasted 20mn, but seemed longer.

I booked this trip for my brother visiting from overseas and my son who was hosting him in NYC. My son made a mistake and put the wrong address in Maps so they ended up in the wrong place. While they were taking an Uber to get there, I called Customer Service and let them know. They contacted the heliport so they were waiting for them and they could do the ride.
This is one of the best Customer Service experience that I have had in my live. These guys are 5 starts. The feedback I got from my brother and son on the tour was unbelievable. Something memorable that they will not forget in their entire lives.

Great time to take the trip (16:00 in mid Nov) as we caught the sunset which was outstanding.
The trip was very good, although we were facing backwards which was not great, but also there was no legroom (I am only 5’ 1” so I am not sure where my legs would have gone if I was any taller!
The route was good, we had the 30 min trip which was the same as the others but slower
Overall it was an amazing experience

The tour was fantastic. The weather could not have been better, and the pilot explained the sites super well. I would highly recommend the HeliNY team. It's the best way to see NY and get a great idea of all the different parts of the city. I have been to NY before, but my son pointed out that it really helped him understand the city's landscape. We love the Big Apple.
