My adult daughter and I did this while visiting New York. The guide was very knowledgeable of the neighborhood and the art. It was interesting to hear her perspective on the arts, some of the intricacies of the art, etc. we stayed very close to the place where we started- might be nice to go a little further away if possible.

Loved our tour with Audrey! She was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny. She told us about the art and the artists, and the history of graffiti art, and there were many great examples in the neighborhood.

This tour was beyond amazing. While you could take a walk around the area on your own to view the amazing art, Andrea gave me the history of street art as well as an in-depth look into its culture. She is an insider with a treasure trove of knowledge who knows many, if not all of the artists, who work in the area. Do not hesitate to take this tour.

Our guide Audrey was fantastic!! We learned so much and loved hearing the history and artist profiles. Great artwork to see and we have a new appreciation when we see art around the city. It was chilly so bring a jacket.

The tour was just brilliant, in total we were 3 plus the guide (Audrey), who really made the difference. Over the 2+ hours walk tour in the neighborhood it was like having a living encyclopedia with you explaining each and every detail of the pieces of street art in front of you and the street art culture I knew very little about. Definitely recommended.

We enjoyed the talk. The guide explained the differences in the type of art and styles and also some history of the buildings around us. Hearing the stories really helped to understand the art and the rules of the street. My group found that we referenced what we learned several times over the next few days.

WOW! I logged into TripAdvisor and it seems I did not write a review. Perhaps I did not submit at the very end. I did this walk around back in May of 22. The tour guide was knowledgeable not just on the art in this neighborhood but all through the world and could speak to several aspects that I would not have realized. I always respected true street art. After returning to Chicago, I have a deeper appreciation. The tour size was appropriate. I.E. I could hear the guide.

How strenuous is the tour? My adult daughter has MS and has a service dog. She is reasonably strong but may be a little slow. Would this pose a problem. Also, there are 7 of us. How many people are usually in the group? Could we be the entire group?

Hi. It's level walking at your pace. Perhaps too much time standing and listening, but that will depend on which guide you get. I don't think 7 wil be a problem, but call the company- you may be able to get a tour just for your group and maybe a discount too. Enjoy!

I would like to know where the tour starts? We are coming from Manhattan and want to know what subway station to get off at to get to the beginning of the tour? Should we wait and make the reservation when we get to NYC on the 9th?

You'd better book your tour before arriving in NYC. As for the meeting point, this was the weak point of the tour. They changed it at the last minute and we waited a while before they sent a cab to pick us up and drive us to the new place where the guide was waiting for us... Otherwise, it was very interesting and the artists painting very good, though I am only an amateur and cannot tell you much any longer about who the artists were. Contact them for all details via their website, that's my recommendation.
