The weather was just perfect, so we decided last minute to do this bicycle tour with... 48 people. We had such a great time, thanks to a perfect organization chich provided good bikes for a special ride in NY

Les vélos loués dans l'agence Rentbike.nyc du 117 58th rue son loin d'être neufs et en bon état. Le réglage de la selle par le préposé à la remise des engins n'est pas du tout adapté, bien trop bas, nous le faisons nous même. D'autant plus, que nous passons devant l'agence du même loueur située à l'entrée même de Central Park (à proximité de l'hôtel Plaza) et là, les vélos sont beaucoup plus récents et donc en meilleur état.

Perfekt, bestilte hjemmefra alt gik uden problemer. Vi ankom tidligt for ikke at være der i prime time så det tog nok lige toppen af panik følelsen i NYC. Super tur rundt i parken bortset fra at andre lokale cyklister bruger turen rundt som træning på racercykel og de køre meget, meget stærkt og er ikke så flinke til at udvise hensyn til os som ønsker at se turen i roligt tempo. Man skal ikke leje cykel for at se seværdigheder rundt i parken da man ikke kan køre fra og cykle videre, man skal af og trække rundt. Vi kørte op nord i parken og udforskede den del og efterfølgende gik vi rundt i den sydlige emde. Virkede fint for os.

Caminando solo lo visitaras parcialmente bicicleta la visitaras entero.
Si pides un candado, te lo dan gratuitamente para que puedas atar la bicicleta cuando quieras visitar algo al detalle.

Bike rental was a good price, but we were not provided with a map as advertised. Bikes are not well maintained and the one I rode did not shift to an easier gear so going up hills was difficult. Also, be aware that bikes are only allowed on the large outer path in Central Park. If you want to go on any of the interior paths, you have to walk your bike. Almost not worth it rent a bike if you want to go on the interior paths and see any of the sights.

This was the 2nd time we'd rented bikes from this shop and - oh my God - the staff are all so irritable and miserable, first thing in the morning. A guy who seemed to be a boss was hovering around - looking more glum than the rest - and just giving off a bad vibe to staff and customers alike.
New Yorkers are known to be pretty unfriendly but these guys take that to a new level.
The bikes themselves were fine and we got what we paid for but how hard is it to treat your customers with a smile and some courtesy?

My son’s 10 year old birthday trip to Manhattan included some favorite things to do in NYC: bicycling thru Central Park. The JW Marriott concierge recommended them, so we rented two bikes for an early morning ride before other activities that day. I told the concierge when we got back to the hotel to never recommend them again.
2 miles from the store at East 90th St, my bike’s chain broke, rendering the bike useless other than to push it, or coast downhill. I called the store and they had NO other advice than to “just bring it back to the store, we won’t charge you a late fee if you’re late getting back”. No one to help, nothing. So, my son was relegated to walking HIS bike most of the way back too since I can’t send a 10 year old ahead on his own. I asked for a partial refund (only $5 of the $40 we spent) when we returned, but NO. They only gave me a business card (that on the back asked me to rate them on Trip Advisor, so like a rule follower , I am now!) for a free 2 hr rental the next time I came back. Well, that was yesterday and I am now home. Thanks for nothing, including customer service. Renter beware. I’ve never left a negative review until now, I try to be positive whenever I can, but this was a special trip for my son.

Me and my wife went for a 2 hours ride around the park which is enough for a full lap plus a bit of sitting around!
One of the bikes was not in the best shape and we only realised when getting there and attempting to shift gears.
On our way to the park we saw people with better quality bikes so you might want to research a bit of you’re specially if you’re planning to cycle for a little longer.
For our 2 hours tour is was ok.

We rented bikes for six people. The staff were friendly and helpful. They ended up giving us a discount. We had a great time exploring Central Park. ...Will definitely rent from them again.

Dreadful service and no manners, absolutely no sense of how to treat a customer. Prices are very expensive too - would be more worthwhile to rent citi bikes near central park or go to other bike rentals with more competitive prices
