Ho comprato un Pass per 7 giorni, incluso di assicurazione per il mio Viaggio a New York. Successivamente ho deciso di annullarlo per potermi muovere più liberamente e ho richiesto il rimborso. Siccome ho letto molte recensioni negative sui tempi di rimborso (....attese fino a 2 mesi), ritengo utile condividere la mia esperienza che è stata assolutamente positiva: dopo una settimana dalla richiesta è arrivato l'accredito sulla Carta di Credito.
Non posso dire come sia il funzionamento di questo Pass, ma posso senz'altro dire che se fate l'Assicurazione (sono circa 12$) e vi trovate nella condizione di chiedere un rimborso i tempi sono eccellenti.

Para empezar, las audiciones del autobús Hop-On Hop-Off son una basura, al subirse a estos autobuses uno espera que le expliquen lo que está viendo durante el recorrido de una manera interesante y no con los comentarios que hacían entre sí los animales del Zoo. Fue bastante decepcionante. A continuación, nos dirigimos al Museo del 11S y no pudimos entrar, había un cartel en la entrada diciendo que tenían problemas con la tarjeta y que había que abonar 22 dólares por persona para entrar, ya que nos hacían un descuento!!, no sabían si el problema era momentáneo o no, pero pudimos comprobar que persisitía ya que nos acercamos otro día y seguía igual. Y ya lo peor fue, que a pesar de que nos confirmaron la recogida en el hotel, que habíamos reservado 10 días antes, no pasó nadie a recogernos, estuvimos esperando tres cuartos de hora y a pesar de que les llamamos y nos dijeron que el chófer estaba cerca, nunca apareció. Tuvimos que llamar a un taxi y pagar un servicio que ya habíamos abonado. No lo recomiendo, porque lo que nos ahorramos contratando las tarjetas de 12 atracciones para 3 personas, lo perdimos en los servicios que no nos dieron y que tuvimos que pagar por otro lado. No me parece nada serio.

Hi, my first time traveling to NY, we bought Pass Day pass for 6 days ....and we start trying to do reservation shuttle from airport to our hotel ... Ich war im März 2023 für 10 Tage in New York City und habe mir deswegen den Sightseeing Pass Flex (attraktions- statt zeitbasiert) mit 6 enthaltenen Attraktionen für über 180 Euro besorgt. Vor meiner Reise war ich besorgt, ob sechs Attraktionen genug sein würden, denn das Angebot las sich ziemlich beeindruckend.
Was allerdings nicht auf der Sightseeing Website erwähnt wird, ist, dass viele der Attraktionen im Winter gar nicht besucht oder genutzt werden können. Für diese Information muss man erst genau in die Detailansicht der jeweiligen Attraktion schauen. Eine Trennung in "Sommer" und "Winter" Angebot wäre ehrlich und sinnvoll, doch vermutlich würde sich Letzteres dann zu lückenhaft lesen und Viele vom Kauf des Passes abbringen. Hinzu kommen Attraktionen, welche die Nutzung des Passes unnötig kompliziert gestalten: Da soll man eine Festnetz-Nummer anrufen, dort eine Buchung für den Pass verabreden, dann vor Ort zum Ticketschalter und so weiter. Bei anderen Attraktionen zeigt man den Pass am Eingang vor, er wird gescannt und man darf rein. Warum nicht überall so? Meinetwegen auch mit Online-Reservierung, bei der man eine Passnummer eingibt. Aber erzwungene Telefonbuchungen im 21. Jahrhundert? Darauf hatte ich persönlich keine Lust und habe deswegen zum Beispiel auf das New York Aquarium und den Bronx Zoo verzichtet.
Durch diese Probleme hatte ich - ganz anders als zuvor gedacht - eher Probleme, überhaupt noch etwas zu finden, dass ich nutzen kann und möchte, um meine sechs Attraktionen abzuarbeiten. Ja, ich habe zusammengerechnet gut $100 auf den normalen Eintrittspreis gespart, aber an gut der Hälfte der von mir notdürftig besuchten Attraktionen hatte ich überhaupt kein gesteigertes Interesse. Und vieles, das ich gerne gemacht hätte, war erst ab April oder August verfügbar. Hätte ich die drei Attraktionen, die ich gerne besucht habe und besuchen konnte, ohne Pass gebucht, hätte ich wiederum gespart. Man sollte also gut recherchieren, ob die gewünschten Attraktionen zu der Reisezeit verfügbar sind und wie kompliziert die Nutzung des Passes gestaltet ist, und dann entscheiden, ob sich ein Pass lohnt. Für mich verhielt es sich eher nicht so. In den Sommermonaten könnte der Pass aber vielleicht eine gute Sache sein!

Avoid!
My girlfriend and I bought 5 day passes for our trip after seeing all the attractions listed on the website and agreeing it was the most cost effective and viable way of seeing New York.
A few days before arrival we tried to book the advertised airport shuttle to be advised by the shuttle company that it wasn't included in our pass even though it is advertised. The day before we left we received an email saying we could not use the pass at the 9/11 museum, another which is advertised on their website and app.
At the one world observatory, madam tussauds, rockafeller, central park bike rental, and the escape room we encountered issues with the tickets and delays to entry. It was difficult getting access however these sites eventually allowed us in after repeated conversations about the pass, showing them the passes and inbound flight (day of arrival and therefore activation date).
At Bowlery and 9/11 we were refused access if we didn't pay, so along with the airport transport we spent an additional $150 on top of the pass price to access sites which were advertised as included.
Several emails to the company were ignored whilst we were in the city, and conveniently after the pass has expired they've finally responded and said they won't do anything.
The many issues and additional cost was not worth the price we paid. I strongly recommend having a search around the Internet and you'll find endless stories similar to ours, I just wish we had done so prior to purchase!
Do not believe anything written or advertised on their website/app, it seems like pot luck whether you'll get access or not.

La tarjeta es cara, pero si haces todas (o la mayoría de "atracciones") que incluye la tarjeta, merece mucho la pena.

À éviter: tout d’abord, la navette entre l’aéroport et Manhattan n’a pas pu être utilisée (du coup il a fallu débourser $15 par personne pour y aller en train) car, bien que cette offre appairaisse dans le sightseeing pass, la compagnie des navettes affirme que seul le Flex pass fonctionne…
Suite à ce souci, nous avons cherché à contacter sightseeing par tous les moyens: mail, Messenger et même en allant sonner à leur bureau dans NY (qui n’est en fait qu’une boîte postale…), plus aucun guichet ni agence n’existe, échec cuisant.
2eme grosse déception au 9/11 Mémorial: le sightseeing pass n’est pas accepté alors que cette visite fait partie des offres. Les employés du mémorial nous ont expliqué que sightseeing avait bloqué leur partenariat « jusqu’à nouvel ordre »…
Une arnaque sur le spectacle au comedy lounge: les créneaux de reservation sont toutes les 1/2h hors les shows sont aux heures piles, vous loupez donc la moitié du spectacle en arrivant et en plus, la condition pour rentrer, même avec le pass, c’est de consommer 2 boissons par personne, coût de la soirée 40€…
Évitez de perdre votre temps dans les offres de bus « hop on/hop off », déception totale!

Le seul « bon point » ce sont certaines idées de visite que nous n’aurions pas eues sans la liste du pass (le Whitney Museum et la Highline par exemple).
Suite à ce souci, nous avons cherché à contacter sightseeing par tous les moyens: mail, Messenger et même en allant sonner à leur bureau dans NY (qui n’est en fait qu’une boîte postale…), plus aucun guichet ni agence n’existe, échec cuisant.
2eme grosse déception au 9/11 Mémorial: le sightseeing pass n’est pas accepté alors que cette visite fait partie des offres. Les employés du mémorial nous ont expliqué que sightseeing avait bloqué leur partenariat « jusqu’à nouvel ordre »…
Une arnaque sur le spectacle au comedy lounge: les créneaux de reservation sont toutes les 1/2h hors les shows sont aux heures piles, vous loupez donc la moitié du spectacle en arrivant et en plus, la condition pour rentrer, même avec le pass, c’est de consommer 2 boissons par personne, coût de la soirée 40€…
Évitez de perdre votre temps dans les offres de bus « hop on/hop off », déception totale!

Nous revenons d'un séjour de 4 jours à New York et avions acheté le Pass pour les 4 jours. Pass acheté en promotion. Petite crainte en amont de partir à la lecture des commentaires...
Mais au final tout s'est très bien passé ! Les pass ont fonctionné, c'était très utile nous avons effectué un certain nombre de visites (8 en tout sur 4 jours, sans se presser), n'avons que très peu attendu.
Je recommande les Pass si vous souhaitez faire les grandes attractions du pass car aucun souci à l'utilisation (bus, observatoires, ferry, musées...). Je recommande uniquement hors saison car vous ne pouvez pas réserver en avance (sauf certains) donc hors saison ça passe sans souci (nous étions début février) mais en saison cela doit être très compliqué de gérer le timing puisque vous ne pourrez pas savoir quand vous passerez.
Je dirai donc dans l'ensemble très satisfaite mais système à améliorer pour pouvoir réserver + d'attractions.

Problema con el Empire State y la Sigthseeing Pass.
Contratamos la tarjeta SIghtseeing Pass para tres días. Ha funcionado bien hasta la entrada en el Empire State: hicimos la pre reserva del horario de visita y cuando llegamos el QR de la Pass no fue aceptado; pedían un correo electrónico de confirmación desde Sigthseeing Pass al Empire State que no se especificaba en la web de la Pass. Nos dijeron que llamáramos al teléfono de Sigthseeing Pass, lo que hicimos pero no respondían. Intentamos entrar una segunda vez y en esta ocasión nos juntamos varias personas con el mismo problema y llamaron desde el Empire a la Pass para desbloquear el tema.

Anybody ever actually received a refund from this company?
I've been trying to get a refund for three, 6 day Adult sight seeing passes for NYC that I purchased on 23rd February 2020 at a cost of $870.48 (including insurance @ $33.48)
No matter how many time I fill in the contact us section of the website, nobody responds and no refund has been given. I must've filled it in over 100 times and still not had my money back.
This company is a disgrace and I would not recommend using them to book a sightseeing trip through. They have been informed on numerous occasions that we are not able get to New York from the UK due to covid and have not received a refund despite it being requested around 100 times over the past 6 months.

Is Empire State building including in this pass? The website doesn't mention it amongst the list of attractions. Also, is statue of liberty and ellis island included? And is there any good cruise included?

Ellis island is included. However it's not so nice. I would advice to take the free Staten Island ferry. You will pass Ellis Isand and the statue of liberty and have great view without the hordes of people :-)

HI, apologies for the delay, we only returned the weekend. we only used the hop on hop off sight seeing bus which we picked up from outside the sight seeing pass office. To be honest it is quicker to walk everywhere as there is so much traffic and lights on every corner

Calcula tiempo con mucha holgura. Hay que pasar por taquilla para canjear entradas. Los buses son algo desastre en cumplimiento de horarios. El outlet un desastre el bus. Salió media hora tarde a la ida y a la vuelta. Los que llegaron a la parada a la hora el bus ya se habia llenado.
Te ahooras dinero, pero no tanto si calculas tiempos ajustados
El gospel hay que reservarlo y ya estubimos en lista de espera. Nos quedamos sin él.

hi, we have just bought this pass for our visit in March. Do we have to go to the bus station to get it activated? I have read with the Flex pass that you have to have the tickets printed, is it the same as this pass. Also there are quite a few restaurants listed, how does that work with the pass? sorry to ask so many questions, the website says that we can use the pass as many times as we like up until its expiry and for what we paid it has got me thinking that I am missing something.

We had to go the bus station the day we wanted to activate the pass. You get unlimited bus use plus a single trip on the hop on hop off ferry plus whatever number is activities you choose. This activities then get counted against your pass and they include museums, tower visits and restaurants. The best value usage is to go up One world trade centre and Empire State or Franklin tower as they are all about usd40 each whereas some activities are only usd20 each. You can also use them for a discount on food or a shared taxi to the airport. The New York underground is also great value as you pay a fixed price per journey so combining that with a pass meant we minimised Uber journeys.

Hi, I'm getting quite a headache looking at various passes for my upcoming trip to NYC in April! Does this pass include admission into the Empire State Building? Can you pre-book your attractions? If you have your pass on your phone app, do you still need to convert to tickets at each place? I really don't want to spend the majority of our time there queuing for something I've already paid for!
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

If it’s the multi attraction pass then you can select where you use it. We didn’t pre book attractions and were able to enter a different queue to the one for buying tickets to process the pass. It works really well though even the queue for the processing the pass can grow at peak times. We used the hop on hop off ferry to view the Statue of Liberty from the river, went up Empire State and one world trade centre (which are great because they are so different) did the world trade centre museum (which takes half a day to give it the attention it deserves), hired a bike around Central Park and had a great but exhausting time. Also don’t miss the High Line walk which is free and awesome
