I have been on several walking and food tours and my tour with Jake Wallace with manhattan walking tour was brilliant. It was the right mix of history, food, local stories of the people of Greenwich and engaging story telling. Jake was a wonderful and informed host and he knows Greenwich very well. I greatly enjoyed my afternoon in Greenwich with Jake and highly recommend taking this tour.

This was the perfect cap to me and my husband’s NYC trip. Jake with Manhattan Walking Tour was the perfect host, yes host, not a tour guide, NYC host. He is knowledgeable about the different historical sites and building along the Highline route. He also pointed out interesting things that we would’ve otherwise missed (smallest privately owned property, yes, that one!). One of my favorite stops in the Greenwich food tour is Mollys cupcakes. Crème brûlée and s’mores for the win! The best part of the tour is honestly Jake’s company and conversations through it all. He didn’t rush our experience and made it feel like a friend is showing us his favorite parts of the city. Highly recommend!

We recently went on the Greenwich Village Food Tour and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Our guide, Tim, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We visited places that we would have never gone to on our own and the food tastings were a real treat. Overall, it was a great tour, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Greenwich Village and try some delicious food.

We did the Greenwich Village tour with Jake and it was a perfect way to explore the area. All the food stops were great, and Jake was so passionate and knowledgeable, he made it really special and fun, pointing out cool history and filming location as well as local Legends and stories. Highly recommend if you are looking for a tour that isn't touristy and gets you incredible food.

Dave was a wonderful tour guide and we had some great food while walkig around Greenwich Village. Definitely recommend.

The highlight of the experience was definitely Jake's knowledge of the area. He was able to fill us in on a ton of historic facts along the tour. He was also very friendly and helpful to the rest of the tour with recommendations on what else to do while in the area!

Jake led a fantastic tour through Greenwich Village with bites and sites! Every stop was filled with delicious and local food, intriguing stories, and historical facts. Jake was an entertaining tour guide full of energy and openness towards questions. He took the time to check in on us throughout the experience and followed up after the tour with wonderful recommendations of the area. If you are new, returning, or local to NYC, I highly recommend this tour for all ages and appetites!

Actually only did the high line part of tour. Jake was awesome! Very informative and friendly.
Really it was like seeing NYC with an old friend.
I will look for his tours again in the Fall when I’m back in NYC.

Great tour, with lots of interesting insider information with Jonathan Hadden. You definitively have to go, if you do not only want to see, but want to understand what is behind the scene in Greenwich Village.
