Die Führung mit lokalen Guide war herzzerreißend. Diese Geschichten rund um das Attentat waren liebevoll erzählt. Das Museum rundet das einzigartige Erlebnis ab. Wie schlimm war da die Nachricht, das unsere Tour die letzte sein sollte. Hoffentlich findet du h schnell eine Lösung, damit hier weiter Geschichten erlebt werden können.

Excellent experience. The tour guide was very knowledgable and professional. I learned a lot with the outside tour. So sorry the museum is closing in a few days due to financial hardship (caused by low attendance due to COVID).

Excellent and touching tour from our guide Steve to understand from his first hand experience the tragedy and the bravery of 9/11/2001. We really enjoyed both the tour and the Tribute museum and highly recommend them to everyone.

We visited NYC for the first time recently and 911 was obviously on our places to visit list. We happened to walk past the tribute museum and we are SO glad we did. We had a walking tour with Chris, a survivor. His story and knowledge was incredible. We were so saddened to hear the museum needs the financial backing to stay open, they have such an important story to tell. This is an absolute must. Chris your story will be passed onto our children and you will remain forever in our hearts.

If you have the chance to do this tour before it shuts down for lack of financial support -- DO IT! Talk to a front line rescuer, survivor, family member of someone who died that day. Too important to forget, and unfortunately as time goes by they ARE being forgotten.

Our guide Dan was so knowledgeable about the whole event it was awesome, speaking from his experience as a crane operator at ground zero he gave a good balanced talk supported by photographs.if we had not taken this tour we would have missed so much at the memorial site and the explanation of the site itself ie trees on site ..

Our family of four visited the museum and participated in the walking tour. We did many things while in New York City, but this is the one that we talk about the most. The museum is well-thought out. The thing that makes it stand out is the very personal nature of it. Listening to survivors or family members tell their stories is something that I believe everyone should do. For those that weren't around for 9/11, this really helps humanize the tragic day. I took the tour 13 years ago, before the memorials were completed. Then we did it again this past Saturday. Both tours were very different because they are based on the tour guide's connection to the day. They were both absolutely outstanding. I would highly suggest people visit the Tribute Museum and take the walking tour before seeing the larger 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It will make that experience much more personal for you. The Tribute Museum is struggling to survive after the pandemic. Please visit to help enable that they can continue to tell their stories. You can also make purchases or donate on their website. This experience is too important to let go away.

Very moving and touching experience. Our tour guide Dan was amazing and was very moving to hear his side of the story which was extremely personal and told us many things we hadn’t known about the day and events after. Mary was also a great tour guide and made you realise the impact it has and still had on the city and it’s people. Would highly recommend this tour and museum - a lot more personal than the larger museum. Hopefully they will be able to find a way to stay open for business as would be such a shame for this to close down due ti lack of funds :(

My daughter and niece (both 13 years old) and I had such an amazing experience on the tour of the 9/11 memorial. Our tour guide shared his personal experience from that day. It was really meaningful for all of us to hear about 9/11 from the perspective of someone who was there that day and is committed to the 9/11 community of those most directly impacted by this tragedy. I highly recommend doing one of these tours and supporting this museum.

I first visited the WTC 26 years ago and observed NYC from the top. I visited after 9/11 to pay my respects when it was cleared but nothing stood in its place. Visiting now was breathtaking - the memorial is a fitting tribute to those lost and the museum has been done incredibly sensitively and knowledgeably.

If your Groupon is for the walking tour you should make a reservation for a specific time--and there's no time that's really any better than another.
The walking tour is the best part. This particular museum is "just okay". The official museum that's next to the memorial is the better one.

Approx 1 hour 30 minutes with a guide from the tribute museum. There are 2 other places to see, the memorial museum and 3 floors of freedom tower (80th,86th & 102)plus absorbing the memorial pools that were the foot print of the two towers. Even out of season I suggest you give yourself a day to see everything at a nice pace and That’s with buying your tickets in advance (perhaps at your hotel concierge) to avoid the queues. The memorial museum has machine on site these work well. Enjoy is not the right word, but visit and respect !
