That was one of the best places to visit in New York City. People have no idea how in today's society we are being watched and monitored. It was great to be able to interact & role play.

This was a fun activity. Probably overprices, but that's NYC. The travelling "Top Secret: License to Spy" exhibit is similar in many ways, but less expensive. The A/V components of Spyscape were top notch and we had a good time. I wish the interactive bits had a bit more challenge to them.

Very interesting.
Activities are entertaining although the surveillance phone game wasn’t working properly when we were there.
We got tickets via the GoCity pass & I would say that’s the best way to visit

These tickets are for the Museum and NOT the Spy games. The spy games is a separate experience. Place is overall a 10/10 and highly recommended 😊

Turns out, we'd be terrible secret agents, but we had a blast along the way. This museum and activity were really fun for us and our teens. The spy games were hard (or we were just bad at them), but in a way that still felt manageable. You have to be a little bit strategic about which games to play to maximize your limited time in the space, but perhaps that's part of the training. :D
We also loved the exhibits and interactive stations in the museum. Taking all the tests and learning about the history of spycraft was so unique and interesting, and we could have stayed in there another hour if we didn't have places to be. Those brain puzzles were ROUGH.
Only thing I'd note, and I probably just missed this in the email they sent before we came, but you'll want to dress comfortably in athletic or moveable clothes and shoes. I'm not sure what I expected, but the spy games were pretty physical, and my heavy sweater and heeled boots probably contributed to my low scores. :D

We had admission with our NYC pass for the museum. We arrived late afternoon and there was no queue.
Both my husband and myself really enjoyed the experience. As it was not mega busy we got to look at everything thoroughly.
The interactive stations were such fun and we loved competing against each other. A good mix of skill, knowledge and fun.
You do learn a lot through the exhibition as well.
We were in the place for just under 2 hours.

Interesting place to visit in north Manhattan. Worth visiting when it's cold and wet, as it's indoor and well heated.
The staff upstairs were fab. The ones downstairs less so, and took them forever to sort out an issue we had with the locker where our stuff was stuck inside.
The games are fun and you can happily spend a few hours there doing stuff, we went as part of the SightSeeing Pass which was fun as it was included.

While this is a great concept , I highly recommend that no one bother with it, especially if you're visiting or coming from further away.
We are visiting from Canada and I booked the most expensive all access option as a gift for my husband for Christmas. I had confirmation and even a reminder a couple of days ago. After taking a taxi to our booked time slot we were told,along with another family of 5, that they decided to close early tonight and wouldn't be able to accommodate us. Apparently it's because they have a party tomorrow night and staff found out about this days ago, yet nobody in either group received a call or email trying to reschedule or even informing us of this change,which is uncourteous and very unprofessional.
They nonchalantly offered to host us another day instead despite the huge inconvenience, but given that we don't live here we don't have that much availability, we demanded a refund.
The fact that management would bump paying customers for a last minute event leaves a bad taste in my mouth and even more so that they didn't even care to inform us in advance. They let us play the games for like 45 minutes by the time we were through everything, but it was so busy and we didn't even get through all of them. They gave us cheap wristbands on our way out, but my hubby and the other group were really looking forward to the full experience and unfortunately that was ruined by very poor management. Looking now I see a few similar reviews and wish I had booked something else for my hubby rather than wasting time at Spyscape.

My 9-year-old had been to Spyscape for a friend's birthday party and loved it, so my husband and I brought her again last weekend. We paid for the 50 minute game experience. We all had a ton of fun, but there were a few things Id' keep in mind before going back. First of all, we bought a timed ticket for 5 p.m. on a Friday. I thought that because the tickets were timed, there would be more thoughtful control over the number of people who'd be there, but once you're in, you're able to buy more time, so there were frankly just too many people when we first arrived. As a result, we waited on long lines for games that lasted 2 minutes. The most frustrating part was that a group of kids kept pushing in front of us. Ultimately, after playing only a few games, we felt pushed into buying more time. I feel like there are ways for the company to make money AND let patrons have a good experience. The games are genuinely good for people of all ages, especially as they increase in difficulty. But the lines that weave in front of doors that people open onto you as they exit the game rooms, and the relative chaos that comes with moderately supervised kids, made it such that we (New Yorkers who live close by) probably won't come back OFTEN, which we do for some experiences in our beautiful city. Maybe we'll just have to come back after hours or on a day other than a Friday.

I found it fun and entertaining, it's not a top 10 of things to do in NY but this is an activity that closes later (10pm) so it's an alternative to have a different time. Eye all the games are in English even though at the start you are asked if you prefer in English or Spanish.
