Our guide. Michael Hunt, was fantastic! We so enjoyed his company and he was a wealth of knowledge about the park. We never imagined all of the rich history and fun stories we would learn. We highly recommend !

Michael was great. I appreciated the small group size and his knowledge. We saw a lot and walked a lot but he knew where and when to provide breaks on benches while he enlighted us of our surroundings and he was great at pointing out the rest rooms available along the way. He also took time to take pictures for us with the scenery in the background. Highly recommend this intro to Central Park!

This is by far one of the best walking tours I have taken while traveling; Michael is an extremely knowledgeable guide tour, and despite the oppressing heat of this New York summer day, he made the tour something we would 100% repeat.

The tour was fascinating, funny, and took us to many beautiful places! Our guide was a wealth of information and truly fun to listen to. He also gave us a great recommendation for lunch after the tour!

Michael was an incredible tour guide - committing to doing a solo tour just for me on a very cold January day. He’s a born storyteller and opened my eyes to the park in a way that I could never have truly appreciated its beauty without understanding the history behind it. He was also an incredible photographer.
Can’t recommend Michael highly enough -do this if you are in New York!

Had a great time. The tour flew by. It was so comforting on our first visit to such a large place to have someone show us around. The trivia was very interesting and put things into perspective. Would highly recommend.

The tour was amazing. I cannot imagine someone knowing more about Central Park than Michael. He delivered quite a bit of interesting information in a fun and interesting way. Central Park is so vast and beautiful, and I appreciate knowing more about it! Highly recommend this tour!!!

Michael is fantastic -- a wealth of information, and a warm and attentive guide to the park. I'd bet even a native New Yorker would learn plenty from a tour with him. Michael has so much historical knowledge, and real love for the park and all it offers both visitors and locals. We would happily wander the park with him again, and chat and listen to more!

Came to New York inDecember 2024 to do a traditional Christmas tour of New York City. After much research I discovered central Park Walking Tours with Michael.
Michael was outstanding - from texting us with all the info we needed for the tour, meeting us right on time at an extremely easy to find location, his tour was amazing. He took us around the park, even extending the tour a bit when I asked to see a specific site and he went out of his way to drop us off at the Christmas market we want to go to.
I have bad knees and the pace of the tour was great. Not once did I feel rushed or that I was falling behind. He found benches for us to sit on while he was telling us about specific things in the park and its surroundings, which was great for me!
Michael is extremely knowledgable not only about the history of the park but also the floor, and is very generous with his time and his knowledge. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour. Michael also took pictures of us along the way and sent them to us so we had pictures of both of us in the park.
It was fabulous highly recommend - 10 out of 10 would do it again.
