Great tour of Central Park. Michael is very knowledgeable about the park & the area. He has very interesting stories. He held up the start of our tour so I could get my husband in an Uber to get back to the hotel so he could deal with a medical issue. You can tell he is passionate about his tours. He takes the time to take photos of the groups along the way & sends them to you quickly.

We left with a deep appreciation of this amazing park - the history, the art, the culture. Michael’s passion and knowledge was evident throughout our stroll. It was overcast and chilly and we almost cancelled, but thank goodness we didn’t. Truly a highlight!!

Guide Michael was very flexible to reschedule due to weather circumstances. He knows really a lot about the park (and the rest of the world) and is fun to listen to. I would definitely recommend the tour/guide since you learn so much more about the park and NY in general.

Michael provided an informative and interesting tour that touched on Central Park history, current events, and NYC insights. We appreciated his laid-back demeanor and extensive knowledge. Our teen daughter really appreciated hearing the information and was engaged the entire time. We definitely recommend Michael and Central Park Walking Tour if you need a guide!

We would like to thank Michael so much for the wonderful tour. It was so interesting learning about Central Park and it’s history . Michael is engaging and easy to talk too .
He points out thinks that as tourists would never have known about, local guides are a must in New York.

You think you know something either because you read, heard, or saw something about it, but then you experience a tour like Michael provides on Central Park and you realize how very much more there is to discover! Michael provided an indepth tour that not only touched upon the crowd pleasing (like movie scene sights and all those famous landmarks) but also took the time out to uncover the hidden gems that only a true expert can reveal. He presents a tour with a story teller's enthusiasm and a knowledge that goes well above what one should rightly expect for the fee charged. So if coming from afar or just from Jersey (like myself), I highly recommend this tour!

We've been to Central Park before but wanted to know more about it's history and nature. Michael, our guide, has a wealth of knowledge which he shared in an engaging and often amusing manner.
He showed us things we would otherwise have passed by and told us about the buildings lining the park. We loved hearing about the famous residential red tailed hawk high up outside one of the homes and we saw a beautiful Cardinal bird and heard its song. We don't have them in the UKso that was such a treat.
Michael is a great guide, brimming with information and some highly entertaining stories. He also took some lovely photos which he sent to us afterwards. We highly recommend this tour with him.

Michael's insight and stories were the highlight of this excellent tour for all seven of us, including some living in Manhattan who'd been to Central Park several times but will see it in new light next time. There is so much to learn and enjoy about Central Park. Ask Michael about anything -- history, structures, plants, animals, movies, etc. He knows it all and relates it in a fun and entertaining fashion.

This was a seriously enjoyable tour. Michael really knows his Central Park onions, and we learned so much. Our special luck was that the sun shone broadly on us throughout, and there was even a turtle sunbathing on a rock in mid-Feb to take in. Highly recommend you book this tour!

My family and I had a wonderful time on this tour! Michael was very knowledgeable and we learned quite a bit about the history of the park, the trees, animals, statues and park architecture. Even got a little NYC celebrity gossip. We went on a bleak and dreary January day and still loved it. I can only imagine how great it would be in spring or fall. Highly recommend!
