Our guide had unique, in-depth knowledge of the topic at hand, plus was very personable. The 3 locations were each very different, and the amount of walking was very minimal (although I wouldn’t say the tour was accessible for someone needing significant physical accommodations - perhaps contact the company). At the end, she brought us to an optional location, which I would have definitely stayed had it not been a Sunday evening. This was a safe and enjoyable experience, for me, as a single woman, to enjoy an evening out, try interesting cocktails, and feel that I learned something new about the area.

Tour guide Ryan along with guests from Germany, Ireland, Scotland, and Virginia had a blast! Ryan took us to three speakeasies in midtown/Hells Kitchen and gave us a very informative talk on the history of Prohibition, impact on New York, establishment of speakeasies, and the end of prohibition. Each pub was well versed in high-end mixology. Between the walk, the history, and the excellent drinks, this tour will not disappoint!

Very entertaining way to learn about NYC during prohibition. Ariel was very entertaining and informative. Highly recommend this tour. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Wish I would've brought my water bottle.

This tour is AMAZING and Totally Unique. Whether you're a tourist or a curious New Yorker, I Highly recommend it, especially for anyone who loves superior cocktails made to perfection, along with an entertaining and intriguing history of New York City's best kept secrets. I went alone and loved meeting the other people on the tour. You can't go wrong with this one ~ so much fun!
