I enjoyed the tour very much.
My 9 y. old son liked it a lot, was able to participate and ask questions.
It was very informative and interesting.
I visited museum many times on my own, but would never pay attention to many details highlighted during the guided tour.
My highest recommendations,

Jonathan is an experienced, pleasant and informative guide. He led us through the maze of the Met to see fascinating relics of ancient cultures. Never would have seen those exhibits without him. Interesting tour!

The museum tour was really informative and interesting. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and he was able to offer insights and explanations of exhibits we had not previously seen.

Knowledgeable and interesting. I got this tour for my mom as she visited NY. She has a degree in biblical studies from Israel, and Jonathan the guide was able to teach her things she didn't know.

We had a great experience with Jonathan. He is highly knowledgeable & very engaging. We loved the intersection of the museum and biblical history. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed touring with Jonathan; his relaxed and informal style of storytelling was engaging but also allowed for individual exploration of the exhibits around the pieces which he used as the basis for his narration. Jonathan was knowledgeable about the subject matter and able to build interesting context around the artifacts that we discussed. We also enjoyed having the opportunity of stop in some of the unrelated exhibits on our way through the museum.

Jonathan is an amazing guide. He is not only knowledgeable but also is able to piece together the incredible biblical history through stories, images and artifacts. A must experience!

My fiancé and I took a trip to NYC for his birthday weekend. We came across this offer of touring the MET exhibits from a Biblical Israel perspective and we thought it was a great idea. From the very start of Jonathan becoming our tour guide, he was so helpful and accommodating, even when New York traffic and rain made us a little late for the start of our tour. He was also extremely knowledgeable about every exhibit we came across; ones that correlated with the topic of the biblical Israel timeline and those that were outside of that topic. He was very conversational and engaging when my fiancé and I brought up questions, and varying perspectives. If you have a chance to take this tour with Jonathan, do it. You’ll have the best time you could ask for at the MET!!!

We would love to do a Thursday, March 17 tour, but our now our flight gets in at 1. There’s no time listed on the tour that I can find. Some of the tours offer a 5 o’clock option - is that possible?
