Good climb but by far the most chaotic and unmanaged cluster f bomb you can imagine. Starting with the most unorganized check in. Followed by the most incWas told the photos were 20 and could be purchased after….turns out they were 40 after. Paid it since Maria t the photo place wa the least helpful person in New York. Did the climb at 12:45….no photos at 2 so spoke to Natalie the photo manager…told to come back in 1 hour….it is now 430. No resolution on the photos….they won’t let us back in to speak to Natalie. Told to go to the front desk…that was conveniently closed. Different manager spoke to us and yell at us…told us to F…off.
By far the most unnecessarily stressful experience. With staff that clearly don’t know what they are doing!

Safety is a top priority! We were checked by several employees 4 times if everything is according to norm. I felt very safe.
On the subject of photos:
I read here for photos before Booking Referral. Photos of us were taken with an IPhone. I can't complain about these, I was very satisfied and bought 64 digital photos for around $30. I thought it was fine. Unfortunately, I did not receive the video of the ascent, but it was not too important to me personally.

This most amazing/scary experience. There was a group of 4 of us, we did it for our 30th birthdays. The visibility wasn’t good the day we went, if this happens they do offer to let you come back another day. However, we had booked for the last day of our trip so we just had to go for it. It cleared up for us so had some great views in the end. Every city climb staff member was super friendly from the desk staff to the guys who got us geared up. We got paired with Bueno and Care. They took ‘care’ of us from start to finish. Bueno was very patient especially as we will were quite nervous when it came to the leaning over the edge part. He guided us through it all very calmly but also kept it light and fun. There was a lot of safety checks at each point we went through so although you were 1200ft above the city you didn’t feel unsafe at any stage. It would have been extra amazing had we got better weather but unfortunately it’s the one thing you can’t control. Other than that the best experience and I would highly recommend!!

What an experience! I was frightened til they brought us back. I was the only one who could not hang off lol. Jaeqon and Mel were a fantastic duo. Very interactive with the group and very professional. Mel helped my son through his fear and he pushed on to hang off the building. All said and done it was worth it. Also thank you to a 3rd member, I believe his name was usuf.

Great experience that we did as a family 5 star rating. Nico & Marvin super experienced climbers of the City Climb at The Edge and they certainly but you at ease. It’s not an easy climb if you have any fears for heights, but so worth it.

I couldn't get hubby to go with me :-D so I went solo and I'm so glad I did! Mel, Kavon ("K"), Bueno -- everyone -- and it's quite a crew, with their hands and eyes on you from start to finish, making sure you're (a) sober (breathalizers!), (b) safe (SEVERAL harness checks by multiple people) and (c) happy / not about to pass out -- EVERYONE was amazing! It was an intense experience for sure. I am not afraid of heights (have jumped out of an airplane, hang-glided, etc), but this experience had my heart racing like none other. Now I want to do it again!

New York is a big city, but many tall skyscrapers. Very nice buildings but unfortunately not so cozy with few cafés and restaurants.
The price picture is almost outrageous with the weak krone. A happy meal costs almost SEK 150
