Magnifico paseo, el clima aun era propicio para hacerlo en la parte externa del bus, e incluye casi todo el casco historico y termina en la famosa estatua de Rocky que por cierto la bajaron del museo

The "guide" was very glib and dismissive of the history of Philadelphia and the nation. Called William Penn Jr. a "repo baby" with PTSD and Betsy Ross a pimp -- she was married three times, he "explained" when I asked what he meant. He breezed over the black architect who designed major buildings in the city -- I will do my own research on that one to get his name. This cynical, glib commentary was most unwelcome and uninformative. My party of 13 all felt the same way. Philadelphia is a great place, though, and worthy of a coherent and upbeat treatment.

Very comfortable way to see many sights in a very short time. Excellent guide, local color, history and facts about Philly. Nice day to ride a double deck tour bus. I stayed on the complete tour ride as I had a museum to visit later in the day.

Great way to see Philadelphia for first timers like us. The bus was clean, the guide (Ruth) was knowledgeable and easy to hear and understand. Money well spent!

We used this as an option to offset some walking/Ubers to places we wanted to cost such as the penitentiary, Rocky statue and waterfront. It worked out well but was busy and busses were closer to every 30 minutes versus the advertised 15-20. On busy days or towards the end of the day/last bus time you might end up finding no seats available. Worked ok for us though and the narrators were mostly good (a couple were questionable) and informative. I’m not sure I would do this again though. Great if you want to start out at stop 1 and ride all the way around, but hop on and off only kind of worked when it was busy.

Overall the tour was good! It was a rainy day so we stayed on the entire time and even took it back to our hotel as well. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to hear and understand. My friend and I learned a ton and enjoyed getting to see Philly this way.
However, I'm not sure why the windows have a screenlike quality to them, therefore you truly cannot take any photos, which we found really odd.
When we changed buses to go back to our hotel, the sister company (red bus) was not as good as the Big Bus. Like other reviewers have said, the microphone/speaker system is horrible and we had to help the bus driver hear her from upstairs for when people were disembarking. It's a really comfortable vehicle but holy heck, fix the microphone/speaker system!
Would I recommend? Yes since in an hour and a half you get a full tour of this cool city.

The views were amazing, and the weather was beautiful, the first part of our tour till we got to Reading terminal, it was very difficult to understand what the narrator was saying. The system seemed to be mostly in a blur. Besides this, it was very enjoyable

Had plan to review highlights of the city by riding the bus for the entire route and then prioritizing 2-3 sites to return for closer viewing. Walked from hotel to origin at Visitor Center to catch first tour group at 9:30 am. Was very fortunate to have Bruce (Uncle Brucey) as our tour guide. He was very informative and injected humor into his presentation as well as being interactive with the tour participants. He was very respective of all participants and gave us plenty of ideas for visiting specific points of interest and so we did that afterward. Great experience and added to our enjoyment of Philly.

Not enough opportunities to hop off. Not enough points of interest. Had trouble hearing the guide. We have done many “hop on hop off” and this did not meet expectations

For the tour we booked, your first boarding had to be at the Bourse House. That's where they verified your ticket and gave you all the pertinent information. We boarded at 10am...check with the tour company for up to date details

Yes, there is A/C in the enclosed lower level. However, the upper level is where the action is. Enjoyable activity. Will make an effort to take advantage of similar tours in other major cities.
I reserved 3 adult tickets for June 9 and June 10. I paid for them via credit card but have not received any confirmation or tickets.
