It exceeded our expectations. Fun tour with knowledgeable guide. Glad we chose tour or we would have missed things. Great full cocktails at the end.

We truly enjoyed our guided tour with Emma of the Prohibition Museum. A lot of good information on both positives and negatives of Prohibition on people and the country. The reasons and history of how it began to becoming law, the challenges it created and how people reacted from Medical alcohol uses to Speakeasy’s to gangstersand more. Definite proof that people will find ways to get around the law -as we watch the US change not necessarily positive from Prohibition as was initially "preached." Going undercover basically in the soon to be "roaring twenties" where a lot was changing in the US. Once Prohibition Act is repealed it has another impact on the country. Very informative, educational and fun. Plus, we get a complimentary drink in the Speakeasy.

Very well done museum about prohibition and the controversy surrounding it. There are lots of posters, moviolas, exhibits and examples of such things as prescriptions for booze, mobster involvement and the effects down stream when a business is made illegal. I learned a lot and the tour is self guided. You can get a small drink at the end that is expensive for the amount but worth it.

My husband and I had a fun visit here while visiting Savannah. It provides an interesting overview of the history of Prohibition in America, and you can top off your visit with a classic cocktail in the bar. It was well worth a stop.

This was a fun experience for our trip to Savannah, we decided to do the guided tour and I'm so glad we did. Our guide Emma, gave us so much information we never would've gotten from just doing the self-guided tour. Plus with the guided tour you get a cocktail at the end included in the price of your ticket so it is well worth it.

Such a fun experience! It was very interesting to learn the history. I wish we had done the tour that has a guide. The ending the tour in a period themed sleakeasy was perfect!

Was a self guided tour with drinks if you choose. Our drinks were delicious. Able to go at your own pace was a plus.. even had Mocktails at the bar for the underage or none drinkers

Saw this as an experience with great ratings on TA. It delivers for sure.
I left knowing a lot more about prohibition in America that was never taught in school.
The displays and information are great. The surprise at the end is fantastic.
I would highly recommend to any age group that enjoys American history. It’s very convenient being located on another Savannah attraction, City Market.

We had a great time at this museum in Savannah, GA. We did the self guided tour, and it was nice, not crowded at all. There was information to read, as well as videos you could watch and lots of photos to look at from this time in history. At the end of the tour, there is a speakeasy. They have a menu, I had a great drink after my tour. I love this museums gift shop as well, very big selection!

You do not have to but it is very easy and can save you much time waiting in line if you have your tickets in advance - we would highly recommend this because you get a discount on your admission!
