I greet every guest before the tour while checking them in, collecting or selling tickets, etc. I'm there seven nights a week. I don't recognize you. You haven't been on our tour. We don't have "trainee" tours. All of our tour guides have been with us for years. We are the oldest and best walking ghost tour in Savannah - since 1997! Our tour guides are quite chatty. I only hire guides who are personable. We have no walks in silence. There are several tour companies whose tours go right past ours. Pets are watched during the half hour before the tour to assure that they are compatible with the group. If not, they are either placed in another group or asked to leave. People can be rude. As tour guides, we try to encourage people to maintain their conversations to an acceptable level, but in the end, this isn't high school. We can't actually punish them. This is tourist season at the end of a pandemic. Everyone is traveling. We're incredibly popular. The city limits us to 30 guests per tour guide.
