Sat Sept 23 historic lunch tour, but turned out to be amateur night at the comedy club. Food, wait staff,ship was fine, but narrator talked too loud, too fast and too much with no break. We wanted to learn a little about the history of the area, but got bad jokes about iPods, tri-pods, etc.

The lunch food was good and service was great. My only complaint was that our table was directly below an air conditioner vent and they would not move us to a different table even though there were plenty open tables available when I requested we be moved. The cruise itself was good and the narration was interesting and informative.

The ship was big, clean, and professional staffed. The boarding was decently quick. The buffet was stocked with good southern food. The chicken was decent. The banana pudding was really good. Portions were large. Food was hot and beverages were cold. Excellent experience. The views were pretty great. We even saw a Bald Eagle!

Get there early and board early, you will be first in line to eat and spend less time in line - truly all you can eat buffet serving delicious food - once finished eating, go outside and find a great seat in the shade for the ride - narrative story is most interesting and informative - overall activity is well worth it!

The tour itself was really wonderful and the food was bountiful and worth the cost. However, I'm five months pregnant and when we sat down I ordered a sprite. When I got it, it tasted like seltzer and I went to let the server know and tell her I'll just get something else because everyone was just sitting down and see grabbed my cup and stormed off. At first, I thought she was just frustrated by the soda gun being out of syrup. She didn't come back other than when I left the table and my husband had to go get the sprite after thirty minutes. When we paid while I was in the bathroom, she was very cheery to him. As we left, I thanked her and wished her a nice day and her attitude completely changed. Before, I thought she was just busy, but the glare and the vet unkind "mmhmm. Bye", or something equally as dismissive was very uncomfortable.

Food was delicious, cruise up and down the river was awesome. Service all together was 5 ⭐️. After returning to the harbor it was raining. Crew gave us big trash bags to protect us from the heavy rain.

While I rarely give anyone a 5 star, this one comes close!
We went for the Luncheon Cruise and the Food was excellent. "FRIED CHICKEN", YUM, YUM! Everything was fresh and just Very Good.
Pricing for the cruise and lunch were reasonable!
Cruising: The River and surrounding area are beautiful. The guide did a great presentation.
Overall, a really good experience!
Recommend it!

A must when visiting Savannah.
Lunch was really surprisingly good as well as the service while dining.
Cruise is not too long nor too short. We must have chose the right time slot as we passed an absolutely massive container ship and were at the fort when they were firing a cannon.
Completely worth the cost.

i wanted to book the lunch River Cruise in September but I am only there for a brief stay. The Checking in on a Friday at 4:00 and out by 11:00 on Sunday. If something happens and I need to cancel, I am told I cannot get a refund, only reschedule.

I am in Savannah for a weekend and would like to book the riverboat lunch cruise but have been told the tickets are non-refundable if I reserve on the riverboat cruise web site. A re-book would be useless because I am only there for a full day on Saturday and checking out Sunday by 11:00
Please send directions or physical address so we can get to this cruise.
