我和女朋友玩得很开心，第一次两个人都玩的开心的那种……才开始5分钟后，我们就感觉自己像雪地摩托的专家。导游把我们照顾得很好(我女朋友一开始非常害怕和紧张，但当我们回到小木屋时，她忍不住一直谈论着这有趣的经历)。人很好，很棒的经历。

We had the best time ever. I am generally a beach vacation person but this experience tops all that we have done. We flew from NJ to Seattle, on to Fairbanks. Stayed at Pikes Landing 2 nights (loved it). Chena van picked us up there.
Off to Chena we went. Stayed in Moose Lodge. Adequate, not fancy but comfortable for sure.
Did hot springs…..wonderful. Dog sledding….fabulous. Up the mountain on the snowcat to see the lights. It’s cold and you have to stay up there from 9:30-1:30 but we saw the lights. Too exhausting to do 2 nights in a row so we stayed at Chena the second night by the viewing room and saw the lights again. Did Ice Museum…so, so. Loved the grounds. Food excellent although pricey.
The International Ice Sculpting Competition was in Fairbanks and that was fabulous too. A walk thru a forest to see different sculptures, one cooler than the other. A vacation beyond my wildest dreams.

The experience was very nice. The hot springs is something I could not compare to anything I’ve ever experienced before. The ice museum is very interesting and the appletini is delicious. Make sure you dress warm for the aurora viewing. It can be brutally cold. Bob is a very nice and knowledgeable guy and even got us to see some moose as well with the trip.

We had a wonderful time on this tour - the day was full and there was abundant time to really soak up and enjoy each part of the night (ice museum, hot springs, and northern lights). Claire was so informative and kept us both hopeful yet realistic about the chances of seeing the auroras. It was cloudy for most of the night, but to our luck, the night sky cleared up and we were able to see the northern lights around midnight!! So beautiful to witness these lights for the first time! Claire also drove us to two additional locations to see more views of the lights. A solid tour, would highly recommend it!

Our guide was very professional, knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed the hot springs, dinner and ice museum. Got lucky with the lights and it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Laura.

Our trip to Chena Springs was amazing. And our tour guide Laura was very upbeat, professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. Thank you so much for a very full and memorable trip. We ate, we relaxed in the Chena Springs, and we saw soooo many of the Northern Lights.

Sometimes the Aurora comes out, and sometimes it doesn't. Regardless, you want a guide like CLAIRE who makes the entire experience at Chena Hot Springs an absolutely incredible and memorable grand finale to your trip. We lucked out. We got it all. Claire was SO fun and interesting and really explained to us the factors that are more/less important with seeing the aurora in Fairbanks vs. in Anchorage, and the sky did it's thing! We also loved having dinner all together in the group - making new friends all around - and smashing our ice glasses after our appletinis from the bar in the ice museum. The hot springs itself was quite the experience. I never had considered myself a "spa" person, no less a "hot springs" person but what a memorable experience.

Would've loved a few more options at the cafe for food. Cheese sticks, yogurt, stuff like that. The restaurant is known for being slow, so wanted to avoid that and just had a bit of a hard time putting a meal together.
Laura was great and it was our second time with her. She clearly loves her job and sharing her knowledge. She also knew the BEST spots to see the lights.

All the help very friendly. Chen’s hot springs aTOURIST TRAP. Activity room a dump .The ice bar took almost 45 mins to get 3 apple martini . need two bartenders ,poorly organized They ran out ice glasses to serve the drinks I gave one of extra drinks I bought to help Ann the bartender I would never tell friends even if you paid me.

Hello! I am hoping to reserve for October 24th my flight lands around 3:30pm and I am hoping to make the tour pickup time. Is there anyway I can request to be picked up last (hopefully around 5pm)?

I do not know where that is, but they do pick up at several different places. The time depends on how they schedule their pick ups, so only they can tell you the answer to that. Call them and they will give you all the details you want. Enjoy!

They picked us up just after 4 because we were second pickup in the group. Pickup is between 4 and 5pm. We got back to hotel about 2:30am. We got to hot springs about 6:30. Toured Ice museum first then had dinner in restaurant on site (you pay for your food as it’s not included) then we went to hot spring until about 11:30. Left hot springs about 12:00am and made 3 stops on way back to Fairbanks to view lights. Best viewing was about 1:30

We went in November and had great luck in seeing the lights. It also wasn't as cold(-5 to +32). We have been told that March is the best time for both weather and viewing.
