Bucket list experience come true

What an awesome experience! We had the best guide in Bob. He is knowledgeable, funny, and kind. The aurora views were incredible! Seeing the aurora borealis has been on my bucket list forever. The lodge was a wonderful with warm drinks, the fireplaces to warm up and cookies! : ) Also, the owner of the lodge would watch the monitor and let you know when to go back outside as the aurora activity was increasing.

Wee had two other couples in the van with us. It was nice to have time to be social with folks from around the country.

I HIGHLY recommend this tour. Ask for Bob! He's the best.

A must-do when visiting Fairbanks during the Winter to view one of the most fascinating phenomena: the Northern lights
We were so lucky to see stunning aurora when we were there.
20 minutes from Fairbanks, you arrive in a lodge with warm coffee, cookies. The terrace is on the North side and you just have to wait to see the magic dance of the aurora.
Bob was our guide: kind, funny and resourceful! Always ready to help, we were also lucky to have him! Thanks!

Great views, above and beyond guide
Bob picked us up on time in a spacious van at a hotel near to our AirBnB. After picking up the remaining guests on our tour, Bob began the drive to the lodge; en route, we saw spectacular auroras overhead and Bob found a safe spot to pull into along the highway, from which we snapped some awesome pics. Throughout the rest of the drive, Bob shared invaluable knowledge about the auroras and Alaska in general. The lodge itself was cozy, but spacious, with a large number of couches and a vast viewing deck with northerly views. The drive back brought us the best views of the night, and Bob stayed out along the road until past 3 AM, which allowed us to see the auroras dancing with purple and red hues. Truly an above and beyond guide.

This was a fantastic tour. Staying warm and being able to search for the northern lights at the same time. Bob is the best! Make sure you ask for Bob for your tour guide!

Spectacular viewing from a beautiful location!

They are courteous and call you the day before to confirm pickup time. Bob is very knowledgeable and energetic. The chances said "average" for us but we saw a spectacular display of lights from the lodge. People at the lodge are also courteous and helped me with my camera settings! I would highly recommend!

Great spot for viewing

From the moment Clair picked me up and dropped me off this experience was just awesome. Once we got to the viewing lodge we were greeted by sage and taught a few things about the Aurora: why it oc ire’s and what space weather to watch. The lodge was clean comfortable and had a good vibe. I would defiantly recommend this to my friends and family and would do it again myself.

Ed, our guide, went out of his way to make this a very special experience. As we were about to leave for Fairbanks without seeing the lights, they magically appeared seemingly out of know where. Even though staying longer would change our schedule he accommodated everyone. In our case we could not get our camera and I-Phone to get decent pictures, so Ed volunteered to send his pictures to us. In addition, he shared some very interesting insights about Alaska Bears of which he is an acknowledged expert. All in all the trip was great, and we attribute that to ED!
