Adventurous but fantastic waterfalls and iconic lake temple

If you love waterfalls, then this is the tour worth going to north Bali which included the iconic lake temple visit also. It’s adventurous and a long drive as we were staying in UBUD, but the dip/swim in the water falls was fantastic. Thanks to Asta (overall driver cum guide for twin falls) and Govinda (Sekumpul falls) for being very courteous and helpful all along. They were good company for my son. Asta was quite good in taking us early to the temple so that to avoid the evening crowd (as originally planned)

Beautiful waterfall tour

We had a great day exploring the waterfalls in North Bali. Our driver Rukun was in touch with us the day before and confirmed a pick up time. He was able to give us useful information about the sites at both Ulun Danu Beratan temple and Banyumala waterfall. He came down to the waterfall with us and took photos for us which was great. At Sekumpul waterfall, we had a local guide which is required to visit the waterfall. Our local guide was super knowledgeable about the area and guided us safely to the waterfalls even through the rain meant that the base of the waterfall had a lot of rapid currents. The hidden waterfall at Sekumpul was our favourite, it was an incredible experience. Our legs did ache the next day - lots of climbing down and then back up, but it was completely worth it!

Wonderful day at the waterfalls

One of the highlights of our trip. The waterfalls and the local guide were amazing. Rukun was our driver, and he was the best. He drove safely and expertly up the winding narrow roads. He is also one of the nicest people we’ve ever met, and we had a great day with him. He walked us to the Banyumala waterfall and took so many great pictures and videos for us and did the same at Ulun Danu. He even stopped at a coffee plantation on the way back to our hotel so we could try all of the local coffee! We couldn’t recommend this tour and Rukun enough. He made our time so special and memorable.

Beautiful waterfalls the best in Bali

It was a great experience not to be missed. Our guide Yani was so friendly and helpful. Yani explained very well about the temple history and took great care of us. Also showed the trees of different fruits and plants. Also she can take amazing pictures and videos.
The waterfall hikes are also not very difficult some steps are steep otherwise it's quite doable with moderate fitness. The local guide for the sekumpul falls was also very friendly. Also do not miss the local fruits in village on route of sekumpol waterfalls - they are much better than the ones we can get in the cities

Great day at the waterfalls! Our tour guide Yanik was amazing, she was super friendly and kind as well as having a lot of knowledge on the waterfalls and temple, she was also a great photographer! Would highly reccomend this tour, ask for Yanik to be your tour guide to make it extra special!

We had an awesome day trip to Sekumpul waterfall and Pura Ulun Danu with our driver, Asta. Young and enthusiastic driver, with a passion for showing us around the North region. We had great conversations with Asta, highly recommend.

Must do in Bali!!

Incredible day!! This is a can’t miss tour while in Bali. Dede was our guide/driver and was very kind and knowledgeable. The waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking and worth the hike! You will have a local guide take you to Sekumpal Waterfall where you will also see another waterfall too that is perfect for swimming and photos which the local guide can take for you.

Afterwards you head to Banyumala waterfalls which are an easier/shorter hike and also very lovely for swimming and photos. The lakeside temple was gorgeous with lots of spots for stunning photos. Afterward we stopped at a Lewak coffee farm and got to taste all of their teas and coffees. Was a fantastic day (one of our favorites in Bali) full of fun, beauty and interesting cultural information. Thank you Dede!! 🫶🏻

A trip we will never forget , with the most camera skilled guide I’ve ever seen , make sure to ask for Asta! 10/10

This is honestly the best tour have done in Bali so far after 20 days being here , Asta was our tour guide and he drove all the way from Denpasar to Lovina to be here for 9am (3.5 hour drive in traffic this time of year)

The company is very flexible with timeframes etc and also we booked for 4 and unfortunately the night before/morning of one of us got really sick and had to stay home , these guys came to the party and gave us a partial refund for this which I am very grateful for.

Now the tour itself ; you better hope you get Asta or ask for him! This guy is an absolute weapon on a camera he should be a professional photographer / videographer.
10/10 amazing

He will go above and beyond to get you the best photos / videos , knows all the spots to stand/ pose and the best lighting etc have some insane pictures to remember this by.

The waterfalls themselves are unbelievable , would recommend going to sekumpul first if possible like we did because you can get there with next to no other people around. Also I did the entire thing in slides no problem would recommend just wearing slides or similar as a bit of walking in water is involved and shoes can get niggly taking on and off not worth it , be prepared to get wet and see a once in a lifetime thing , remember to bring some extra cash to tip local guide on sekumpul we had a really good funny one.

10/10 highly recommend best tour so far by a mile , Asta knows how to take Bule Gilo pictures like the back of his hand!

Amazing Waterfalls

Absolutely amazing tour to the waterfalls. We had Rukun guide us through. Did an amazing job even though we had such bad rainfall. Even though we were slow as it was a rough trek he waited for us and helped us a lot. Really appreciated it. Thanks again!
