Master Storytellers Excellent Experience

Great experience! Highly recommend.
Master Storytellers make this experience one of a kind. It’s impressive how many locations and the backgrounds behind them the tour groups learns about during one tour! They have put a lot of work into the tours and even better the passion for the city is shared from their excitement when narrating and leading the tour.

Truly Ghostly Tour

The tour guide did not show up. We did not receive an email or phone call canceling. No one answered the phone.

Reservations
This tour operated with 8 guests in attendance. I wish that you had called us before the tour started to let us know you couldn’t locate the guide. I understand that being in a big city can be overwhelming. The tour guide finished the 7pm tour on Sunday night and then immediately checked in our guests for the 9pm tour. This took place for the 9pm tour at the designated location. We operate tours all day on Saturday & Sunday 11am 2pm 4pm 7pm & 9pm. The tour guide literally makes loops leading tours: checking guests in, starting tours, leading tours ending tours and repeats all day / night. The last tour of the day starts at exactly 9pm and cannot be delayed for missed tours or late arrivals due to the fact that as per city ordinance tours must be concluded and off the streets at a certain time each night. We must start the tours on time in order to be able to finish the entire tour. I pulled the records including time stamped photos of the meeting / departure location. The phone call you placed was after 9pm - you called after the tour group departed. The instructions that are included on the tour listing and the voucher that you received include to arrive before the start of the tour in order to check in and depart at the scheduled time from the meeting / departure location. Tour guides do not answer the phone after the tour starts this is why when you called no one answered bc the tour had started and was in operation. On top of this - The tickets that you purchased were marked down 25% & 30% off during this time. We did this for guests visiting from out of town out of gesture of goodwill for Jazz Fest and French Quarter Fest since the rain had made it a bit difficult to enjoy their time here. So obviously we would not mark tickets down as an incentive to purchase them and not show up, that’s absolutely appalling. I have called and not received an answer…. We can reschedule your tour if you would like.

Thanks to Madison we had a great time in New Orleans! Yay! We loved our tour!
Of the tours we attended I think this was my favorite. Although it’s kinda hard to pick a favorite Bc they were both a lot of fun.

I spoke with Ms Ashli and she was helpful with a lot of information regarding basically everything from reservations down to helping with free parking areas which i learned very quickly it was & is near impossible around the French Quarter to park for free. The tour guide Madison was very helpful she grew up in the French Quarter and had some awesome stories to share. She is a top notch tour guide. History ghosts vampires voodoo comedy and more is all complied into this tour

I highly recommend any of the tours offered by this company.

Great tour! Covers all the bases! I booked a few different tours with this company and one other company we recommend this company as they care about their customers and they know what their stuff lol Yay we had a blast

Our guide was Cody. He did a great job keeping everything on track, interesting, and fun! I feel like I left with great memories and pictures. I would love to take another tour with them!

So interesting and entertaining!

I loved that there were only 2 other people on this tour, a rare occurrence, but thankfully for me a big football game was underway which kept everyone indoors. So it was essentially a private tour with a knowledgeable guide, who walked us through the French Quarter and Jackson Square while regaling us with stories about various buildings. Who woulda thunk the oldest continuously active bar in the US is in the French Quarter (not me!)? Or that the oldest cathedral is in Jackson Square?! How else would I have known where Brangelina lived during their time in NOLA, or that Brad was a jerk while Angie was kind and friendly?! Or where Elvis stayed during the making of "King Creole" and gave impromptu performances on the street outside? And I certainly never would have dreamed of the bloody, tragic history of the 10,000 foot biggest mansion in the Vieux Carré! This excursion on a sunny, breezy day in November was informative and entertaining, a day I will remember always. And when I return to NOLA, I'll smile when I walk by those buildings, thinking about how much I know about them, thanks to Nawlins Theatrical Tours.
