Our tour guide , Caroline, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining. She built our tour around strong Cajun women. I learned a lot about the history of New Orleans and its people and culture.

Our guide was Guy. He was totally awesome. He had such a depth of knowledge about NO, its history, culture and architecture that we came away with a very comprehensive overview (and deep dive). While it was just my husband and myself, and the weather wasn’t the best, Guy did not cancel and we received a wonderful gift of his knowledge and love of his city. By all means, take this tour!

Phant was a wonderful tour guide and thorough historian, whose wonderful attitude and enthusiasm made it an unforgettable experience. Phant knows her city and she knows how to engage an audience. We heard good things and they were 100% accurate.

My husband and I visited New Orleans earlier this month. We lucked out and had Guy all to ourselves! You can tell that he's both knowledgeable and passionate about the city. It was great to kick off our trip with a morning walking around the neighborhood, grounding ourselves in the history of the French quarter. Thanks, Guy!

Fantastic tour! Our guide, Caroline, was extremely knowledgeable, was very well prepared, great speaking/presentation style. Interesting details about the history and architecture we were seeing. This is the second tour I've taken with this company (other was the Garden District) and would highly recommend!

If you're considering this tour--go for it! And book it for the first day or two of your stay in New Orleans, if you can. We absolutely loved every minute of our tour with Guy, who is such a knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide. It was clear that he was an educator at one point in his life because he was also approachable and welcomed all questions. We learned so much about the architecture of the French Quarter, which deepened our appreciation of everything we saw during the tour and after! For the rest of our trip, we walked around remembering and pointing out features Guy had told us about. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Suzanne in particular was a wonderful tour guide! She was not only a wealth of knowledge, but catered the tour as we went to things we were interested in. I really appreciated how she wove the history of the city into the story of the architecture we saw. Would recommend to anyone.

The tour was very interesting and the guide was very informative and receptive to our comments and questions. She mentioned different types of buildings and contextualized them in the relevant stages of New Orleans' history. Her addition of highlighting Creole women was a nice addition.

How long do both tours last and is it possible to do them both in one day?

I don't remember exactly. but I think the tour was about 90 minutes. You could do both tours if that's not too much walking around and they're offered on the same day.
