The tour guide is highly knowledgeable about the history of Seattle, so it was a joy and a fantastic learning experience taking the tour. He's also clearly invested in his subject matter, so he was a pleasure to listen to. I soaked in all the knowledge that I could. Seattle's history is rich. I've lived here since 1995 and, regrettably, just learned about it now. But better late than never. I highly recommend this tour, and please be sure to tip your guide, because he's AWESOME. I will be a return customer.

Our tour guide, Jennifer, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and fun.
This was a walking tour that goes between underground and above ground. The tour highlights Seattle's history and was fascinating.

We had a great time. Jennifer was great. There isn’t much to see underground but the history of the area was very thorough and informative. I googled some of the stories after the tour, and there wasn’t really anything additional to learn because our guide covered it all.

Learned history about the city. I would say however, if you are pressed for time while in town and need to be selective with your tours, this one could be skipped in my opinion. The larger city tour will give you the same information without having the actual underground visual. The visual tour of the underground itself is underwhelming and I felt like the history of it would have been sufficient to hear.

We learned so much about the history of Seattle and why the "underground" exists. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tour and it was just the right length of time. Highly recommend if you're interested in Seattle history or architecture.

We were there in April and masks were required indoors as well as proof of vaccination/negative test
we are traveling and are wondering how far in advance can the negative test b to join the tour?

I think you will need to call them if you are unvaccinated, and need to provide proof of a test. It has to be a PCR test, within 72 hours.

For someone with anxiety or slight claustrophobia, is this a manageable tour? The person's symptoms are triggered if we're talking more than 1 level down. Basement ok, but not below basement. Also if too long of a stretch with narrow walls and no light from outside. Thoughts?

I think you’d probably be fine…everything was a single level below street level. No super narrow passageways. Most of the underground spaces do not have outside light, but are pretty well lit, and most ceilings were fairly high. Hope this helps!
