Our guide was great and the scenery was beautiful! It was really cool to see the waterfall frozen at the surface, but the water flowing behind. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the animal footprints we saw, as well as the plants and also pointed out bear scratches on a tree. It was interesting to learn about the flora and fauna in the area as opposed to just taking pretty pictures.

Leah did a wonderful job making me comfortable & ready to hike our snowy trail to the waterfall. She pointed out animal tracks, habits & knowledge, as well as the trees, floral & mushrooms. Fun learning on our beautiful morning hike. And, we saw a linx cross the road on our drive back!

This was a great little hike in the snow. Our guide Leah was great in taking us all around the area and making sure we had a good experience. Definitely take this little hike.

Absolutely beautiful! Ventured on this walk with my soon to be 70 year old husband and we did great.
Rookie mistake over dressed and got hot. Our guide Leah was friendly and knowledgeable about trees, bushes, and fungus growing on trees.
We talked about the wildlife and saw evidence but never saw moose or bear.
If you love the outdoors and want to see beautiful mountains and a waterfall without going on an all day hike, I would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing day taking the waterfall hike with Leah. She was timely with the pickup and a great driver. Once we reached our location for the hike we were simply in awe of the winter wonderland before our eyes. We are from New Orleans thus, we never have an opportunity to see so much snow. Our hike was absolutely beautiful! However, I think we had on too many clothes and at some point we overheated. That was due to our lack of knowledge regarding dressing for the Alaskan winter. Otherwise we had an amazing day and surprisingly the waterfall was not too difficult to hike. Thanks Leah for being our guide and keeping us safe while we hiked the waterfall and witnessed such unimaginable beauty in Anchorage, Alaska.

What a beautiful snowy trail to the frozen falls! Our guide Matt was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable & made our time a lot of fun! The falls were beautifully frozen over with water flowing through the ice. We were able to also walk through the woods, to the frozen river, where the Mountain views were amazing.Highly recommend Matt and his team for hiking tours when in Alaska!

If you want to get out there but only have half a day, then this tour is perfect! Matt and Greg are a wealth of knowledge regarding the area, plants, and animals. We extended our hike to see a bit more - the frozen waterfall and scenery were just beautiful and we had a great time. We're looking forward to taking another, longer day tour with this company this summer. Thank you Matt!

Matt is a true naturalist and an awesome tour guide. He will teach you how plants in the park grow and survive, and he can easily recognize the footprints of different animals. Later on, I wanted to hike around and outside the trail where I would not see many hikers and feel like I'm in the wilderness; Matt guided me to a perfect place that made me stay amused by the view for a while.
