Spent a great 2 hours with Rebecca on this great hike— emphasis was on foraging not on strenuous hiking, but Rebecca opened the world of berry picking and eating in Alaska — wonderful and informative

This hike was conducted just as advertised. Our guide was very courteous and knowledgeable. It was just what my wife and I needed to help complete our trip to Anchorage. If you’re looking for a good hike that’s not too intense, this would be the one. Great job. I’ll use this company the next time I’m in Alaska.

Booked this excursion as a way to get our feet wet (no pun intended) as we were getting into Anchorage very late/early the night before, but still wanted to do something on our first day in Alaska…..and boy did we do something!!!!! Matt picked up my wife and myself and we were his only clients for the day. We had a personal tour, and a very knowledgeable guide, who knew what could and could not be eaten. If Matt says you can eat a berry, trust him…they may not be totally ripe, but you will get tastes like you have never had before (who has ever had a watermelon berry??)
And no matter how you get to Barbara Falls (the easy route or the challenging route), just make sure you go. The picture above doesn’t do it justice.

A very challenging walk over steep and rocky terrain. A great time. Did not see any bears or moose... just lots of mosquitoes. Bring water!

Leah was an excellent guide and her knowledge of local plants was impressive - learned a lot and had fun doing it ! Hike to waterfall was paced well and our group really enjoyed it

Leah was our guide. She was so sweet and informative. It was raining super hard but that didn't deter us. Her pace was perfect and gave us lots of time to take in all the beautiful scenery. It was the highlight of our trip.

Had a great time, our guide (I think her name is Chelsea) is very knowledgeable. She also has a story or two of why I can’t remember her name. The falls were amazing. No moose or bear sightings this trip but still had a great time.

Hi, the description says there is a limit of no more than 12; but when I went to book it says max of 4 adults. We are a family of 5 adults, and 1 child. Is this walk offered any other way ?
