It is on must see list when visiting Alaska. It is so beautiful and feel like in another world. It was cold at beginning of walk and then getting warmer after walking a while.

Our driver cancelled on our tour 20 min before our pickup citing illness and van issues. No other drivers were able to pick us up that day and unfortunately we couldn’t reschedule on another day since we were booked everyday. The driver and owner were very nice though and they gave us a full refund. If there are any issues, they should have scheduled another driver to get us at least the day before and not the morning of.

No you are correct, there were no other drivers available and I require my drivers to be in excellent health before sending them on a tour. When my driver finally was able to inform me about the issues with her van I found out she was not well and was worried about doing the tour in the first place. I was upset that she had not called off the night before but I insisted we cancel for your safety. I am sorry we were unable to accommodate you. But certain standards are necessary these days and I am not going to take a chance of getting you sick from one of my staff. I do take full resin ability for not being able to speak with you earlier in the day. I am baffled why you choose to attack my business for doing the right thing for your protection. Especially when you received a timely refund in full. I am sorry we were unable to provide your tour as promised. Russ - Owner +1 (907) 802-7444

Had a great experience with this tour! I am a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable the whole time. It was a perfect day trip with beautiful scenery! We stopped in Palmer to grab a deli lunch and take with us, stopped at the Matanuska gift shop on the way in to get souvenirs and postcards, and stopped a few other places on the road to take pictures. Our driver was very knowledgeable and had great communication before and during the trip. The glacier tour provides spikes and helmet, but I would recommend taking your own trekking poles if you don't have the best balance.

The whole journey is organized and efficient. Juls is our guide for glacier trip. During the trips, she talks about the history and the natives in Alaska. And Juls teaches us to look for dots on the cliff to find animals. She made our trip wonderful!

Fantastic tour! A small glitch with communication the night before, but it was worked out early in the morning and it was smooth sailing after that. Don picked us up at the hotel, we stopped for sandwiches on the way up & arrived at the Glacier in good time. Meghan took our group out on a beautiful sunny day for a 2 1/2 hour hike all along the glacier. It was awesome!! Meghan was great, very informative and kept an eye on the whole group, making sure we were comfortable with the journey. After the hike, we hooked back up with Don & had our lunch at the bottom of the glacier on the picnic tables. Then Don drove us back to our hotel in Anchorage. I highly recommend this tour!!

We booked this two days before and we were accommodated no problem. It is about a 2.5 hour beautiful drive from downtown anchorage. The check in process where you pay is very friendly and accommodating. Form there you dive to where you meet your glacier guide. That is where they explained the process and gave you your helmet. Our guide was fantastic. We had 5 people on our group from 22 to 55 years old. Each walk is different depending on the ice and number/type of people in your group. The guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about what we did and saw. It was about a 2.5 hour walk that was simply amazing. We made it pretty high and the views were great. At no time did I feel unsafe and learning to walk in crampons was easy. I would recommend this to anyone visiting anchorage. They give a substantial discount for military or local residents. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience.

We came to Alaska for the first time and we really enjoyed our very first tour here with Juls was excellent. She was very informative and made our trip very comfortable. Matanuska walk was something we’d never experienced before and it was amazing. Thank you Juls for the enjoyable day.

From the start to the End it was awesome.
The driver, Owner and tour guide was very pleasant and friendly. At the glacier we had another tour guide that it was impresive Knoledgeable
The Glacier was an spectacular experience.
I recomend it 100%. Pictures do not do justice to an amazing tour.
