A must do excursion in the ATL!

Highly recommend this tour! The tour guide Jeff was very nice, welcoming, funny and went above and beyond to explain the intricacies/points of interest. He even accommodated my group to tailor it to us since we had more time. The tour is a safe way to take you to the less popular/known touristy parts of ATL and you get to know the history. The tour also takes you to many historical sights of the Civil Rights movement, which is just amazing to see in person. The tour has a convenient pick up/drop off point and it is near the subway if you need to get to the airport!

What a way to learn about Black History and Civil Rights around Atlanta!

Our tour driver Jeff was the best! He gave us lots of big (and little) known Black History and Civil Rights facts around Atlanta. As a retired educator, I thought I knew Atlanta and the Civil Rights Movement, but Jeff spiced things up and told us about so many things I wasn't even aware of. Our son liked seeing the HBCUs and driving through the campuses since he's going to make a decision about college in a couple years. The hours flew by and we wanted to learn so much more! The bus was comfy and the AC was perfect for the 80 degree weather. We enjoyed the experience.

Best Black History Lesson Tour

Jeff our tour guide was amazing. He made sure everyone was comfortable before heading out because it was a full tour. The tour was a little over 4 hours and well worth it. He gave us a real history lesson on the city and how it has transformed through out the years including the good and the not so good parts of it. He drove by so many landmarks it was hard to keep up but I did make a note of the places to visit afterwards. We did stop by several locations and was able to take pics, took lunch break and drove by Tyler Perry Studios (no tours allowed during weekdays). Jeff even played a little music trivia in the van to get the younger ones more involved. Overall I would suggest this tour to anyone interested in the history of the city of Atlanta.

A real Atlanta experience
Jeff was friendly, knowledgeable, personable and clearly proud to show off his Atlanta. A perfect introduction to someone new to the city, especially travelling solo. The time flew by and I learned so much with lots of photo memories to bore my family with when I get home!

What a treat!
My family and I really enjoyed this experience. Omar was our personal guide and we can't say enough about the royal treatment he gave us on the tour. It didn't feel like a typical 4 hour ride along, barely getting a glance at various sites. But rather, it was more like hanging out with a favorite cousin, who just happens to be certified in all things Atlanta. The city is so rich in history and culture. Definitely recommend.

Civil Rights and AA history tour

Jeff was a great tour guide. He had lots of insights about neighborhood developments through the years. He had a good sense of humor throughout. It was nice to be able to stop in a few places to get out and experience the area up close.

Enjoyable and Impactful

My son and I really enjoy the tour. Jeff stopped by all the main areas of interest and other areas not listed in the description. He throughly explained each area and its significance. I recommend anyone interested in Atlanta Civil Rights history take the tour.

Entertaining & funny tour!

I had a great time on this tour! Our guide Jeff did a excellent job informing us of the history of the city. He made the tour so much fun with his good humor, knowledge and kindness. I learned so much! I really enjoyed the other ladies on the bus with me, it felt like family. I highly recommend this tour, you will have a great time!

Must do! Great history with photo ops!

Jeff was super knowledgeable on our tour! He was patient (since I was running 10 minutes late -thanks ATL traffic) and was easy going. We had a great time and learned a lot about the city! I would totally recommend booking and supporting a black owned business!
FYI make sure to ask him about the music sample game while you are traveling! =)
