Wat hebben we een mooie dag gehad! Een zeer verzorgde dag, waarbij we eerst 50 km werden weggebracht. Daarna vooral bergaf genieten van de omgeving! Onze dochter van bijna 5 zat achter in een meetrap karretje en vind het ook geweldig!

The team at Bike it Now are so organised and very welcoming.
They had the bikes ready and waiting for us and the charming Warren drove us out to our starting point.
The communication was excellent. Garry and the Gals at the shop explained everything to us and Warren went through everything again on our journey on the bus.
Definitely worth doing - something different

Bike It Now provided an excellent experience for my family on the Otago Rail Trail. Their communication pre-trip was detailed and accurate. The bikes were very good and as advertised. This was overall a great trip and one I'd recommend to anyone considering a visit to the area.

Nothing to worry about!! All our trip was so well organised. Hop on your bike and go. Lovely accomodation and friendly hosts. Very informative bike shop staff and shuttle drivers. Great to find your luggage waiting for you.Friendly riders out on the track. Mix of weather didn’t interfere with the wonderful views.

Great experience - quality bikes, friendly people, really helpful information about the trail. Highly recommend! We in particular loved the advice about the mountain bike trail along the river from Alexandra to Clyde - the bikes were perfect for it and we had so much fun (plus it was nice to be in the shade for the last leg).

So pleased you had a great time, the Walking / Cycling trail from Clyde to Alexandra is very popular and a very cool ride. Just a little more concentration required.

All communication, booking arrangements and staff were so amenable.
This surprise Christmas present for two daughters and their husbands on conventional (not e-bikes) but well maintained cycles was fun and went so smoothly. The scenery and the boat driver Dave were exceptional. Highly recommended.

What a great surprise Christmas present, so pleased we could contribute to that. The Roxburgh Gorge Trail is pretty dam special.

First time riding an e-bike in New Zealand and it was a blast! Lisa at the Clyde shop was very personable and helpful as we learned how to operate the bike. We were given time to ride the street in front of the shop to ensure we were comfortable and had any questions. Next up it was John's turn to take us by shuttle to Ida Valley for our mostly downhill ride back to Clyde. We were the only two in the van and consequently John provided interesting commentary and insight into the local area and NZ on our way to the trail head. John pointed us in the correct direction at 1030am and told to have fun and be back in Clyde at the 5pm closing time with a phone call from Chatto Creek Tavern at lunch to check in with Lisa. The bikes were fun and easy to ride. We want e-bikes when we return home! The trail was in great shape and the scenery beautiful. We stopped at the Stationside Cafe for coffee and sweets and then onto Chatto Creek Tavern for lunch. Both stops dining outside in great weather.
We would highly recommend Bike It Now and their Otago Central Rail Trail One Day Wonder Cycle Tour!!!!

It was absolutely fabulous, all elements of the trip were well organised. You had all the info you needed to make sure you stopped at the right places for food. The ride is quite easy and out of the four days we had two and a half days of great weather you can stop as many time as you want. In bad weather there are still lots of places to escape the rain and wind for short periods. The ride can be done by nearly all ages specially if you use electric bikes. This is a ride that can be on most peoples bucket list and Bike it Now were spot on.

I and my two friends did the Otago Central Rail Trail from Clyde to Middlemarch. I'm glad we used Ebikes as it made the going much easier when we had head winds. I'd never been to Central Otago before and was surprised by the varied scenery. It was magnificent. I was particularly taken by the rocky outcrops around Hyde. It felt like being in one of the American Wild West movies. At any moment I expected the cavalry to come riding over the ridge. We were also impressed by peoples gardens, especially by their roses. Bike It Now did a superb job. Our meals, accommodation, transfers etc. all went without a hitch. Thoroughly recommend this tour. We set off from Clyde on Wednesday and arrived Middlemarch on the Sunday. Take sunblock! I forgot to put it on the first day. Big mistake! We were there first week in Dec., so before the school holidays, It was quiet. Wonderful holiday, thoroughly recommended.

Thank you for your great feedback I am sure it will be well read, and others will be looking for the cavalry. Correct "Sunblock" is key for both sun and wind in Central Otago.

This was a trip three years in the planning, first booked with BikeitNow! pre covid and having to be rearranged three times in total, this being our fourth attempt due mainly to border closures meaning two of our party of six could not get here from Australia.
Jan at BikeitNow! was an absolute star in the way that she persevered with making it work for us to finally have our holiday in the way that we had originally planned, despite some original accommodation properties no longer being an option and a massive onslaught of bookings to deal with; she never dropped the ball once or lost her commitment to us as a group, and went to every length to deliver for us.
From the time we arrived in Clyde to start the trail until we finished five days later in Middlemarch, we felt well supported by the team. Lois gave us a thorough briefing pre departure and Tony did the same regarding the bikes (which were excellent) - they could not have been more helpful. At one point I got a puncture out on the trail and after a quick phone call to HQ there was someone on their way with a replacement bike for me.
The accommodation each night was excellent, and we appreciated the recommendations given to us by Lois on where to stop for a good coffee, where best to eat, etc - all the little things that make a difference.
Everyone in our group agreed at the end of our five days on the trail that it had exceeded our expectations and we gave the experience 10 out of 10. Much of that is down to the team at BikeitNow! who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible time, which we most definitely did!
