Driving up the mountain is not an easy task, and the driver/guides do an amazing job. It is a great way to enjoy the mountain without trying to focus on the road.

Fritz was great!!!! He clearly has a lot of knowledge of the area and took great group photos for us. He lets you get out and explore a little along the way unlike other tour groups. We really enjoyed our trip. Saw 5 moose and 10 elk among many other great sites. Highly recommended Green Jeep Tours and Fritz as your guide!

We took the 4:15pm safari tour with Cam. The tour took us on Trail Ridge Road from the Fall River entrance station to the Alpine Visitors Center in RMNP. Along the way we saw elk, moose, pikas, turkey, and more. We also caught a beautiful sunset over the Rockies.
The tour was a great way the see RMNP without having to drive Trail Ridge Road yourself. However, because the jeep is open air it was very cold, especially as we made our way to the top. I highly recommend dressing warm, although blankets were provided on our tour.
Cam was a great tour guide as he was very upbeat and knowledgeable about the local area, wildlife, and history of the park. He also gave recommendations for local eateries and places to stay in Estes Park. Overall, we had a great experience and would go on a green jeep tour again!

Our tour guide, Jen, was friendly and it was fun to be with her. Jen's knowledge of the plants, animals and terrain of Rocky Mountain National Park enhanced our views of beautiful meadows, flowing waterfalls, lakes and streams, lush forests, the tundra at 11,796 ft., and the Continental Divide. My daughters enjoyed seeing deer, elk, birds, ducks and small mammals, too.

We had Dan as our driver, he was so pleasant and funny!. We would recommend Green Jeep tours to anyone who doesn't want to drive into Rocky Mountain National Park. Dan took us to places that we would not have stopped at if we were driving it our self. Our group was so much fun. We will certainly use them again.

We had Jenn as our guide. She is knowledgeable, fun, was able to answer our questions, and okayed awesome music! She knew the geology, eco systems, plant life and animals of Rocky Mountain National Park. We highly recommend Jenn at Green Jerp Tours in Estes Park.

We took the 4 hour Green Jeep tour of Rocky Mountain National Park and it was amazing! Pete was our guide and he was knowledgeable, informative and hilarious! He did a great job of pointing out elk, deer and moose, as well as all of the interesting scenic views. We saw majority of the park and the dirt road really made our adventure the best experience ever!

The evening Rocky Mountain Safari with Green Jeep Tours was outstanding. We saw and learned so much about the history of Estes Park, the plant and wildlife in the area and the various ecosystems of the mountains. This was not a ho-hum-yawn tour. Our tour guide (Nick) was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, engaging and fully tuned in to the dynamics of our group (we had kids so he made sure the ghost stories were "G" rated). Every detail was carefully thought out from the stops along the way to enjoy stunning scenery and wildlife, geodes that he gave to the kids, water, snacks, blankets (which were needed for the drive down the mountain) and the perfect music to capture the moment and emotions. Thank you Nick and Green Jeep Tours for providing an unforgettable experience!

We did an all day tour of Rocky Mountain national park and it was awesome. Jenn was our guide and she was fun, energetic and provided interesting facts! We would do it again. It was a great way to cover a lot of ground in one day.

Does this tour make stops allowing riders to get out and take photos or walk around any?

Yes, absolutely. My granddaughter is a Girl Scout and she wanted to go to the visitor center for a badge and we stopped for a little shopping. We stopped for a few short hikes. If there is something special you want to see I would mention it in the start of the trip. Since it was only our family of 5 we probably had a little flexibility. (We did pay more to be alone)
