Our driver/guide was Ted who was excellent. Conveyed a vast amount of information about his home state while keeping it all entertaining. A really good way to get to know Rhode Island.

Was fabulous!! Ted Strickland, our guide was very knowledgeable and thorough! Learned a lot of history and interesting facts about Rhode Island! Highly recommend!!

The ride was amazing! Stops at various historic sites, when our TED guide (wonderful!) explained the facts of American history, local personalities and curiosities.

I was very disappointed that in our group which had 3 black people there was not one mention of the slave trade. The tour guide made Linden House owners sound like fine people. They were slave traders. I feel the politics of the tour driver came through and it was shameful. Please address this.

We planned the family trip to RI during the summer after hearing a lot about its natural beauty and charm from our close friends and, we are glad that we took the right decision. The trip entertained and enthralled us with the beauty, calmness, soothing sea breeze, and the constant beat of the waves on the shoreline. It is a memorable and lifetime experience for all of us.
Our tour guide Fred was a great entertainer and source of immense insight and knowledge of his province.

Ted was a great tour guide. We were all over most parts of the beautiful state of Rhode Island. We learned so much information about the history of this state. It was a very beautiful tour. Lots of opportunities to take pictures, We visited beaches, saw colonial houses and mansions. I'd recommend this tour on your first day in town because you are shown many areas of things to go back and visit or do.

We only had one day in Rhode Island, so this tour was the best use of our time. The only disappointment was so few sites in Providence were on the tour. But we very much enjoyed the places we saw. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the state and of each site we visited. This tour was very enriching.

2nd September 2023. An 8hr Rhode island in a day tour was booked and paid for. Advertised as comprising a total of 8 different stops with each stop allowing guests to alight for different periods of time. But not today. Today the bus had been double booked for a wedding. The last 3 stops were simply drive bys and 2 hours straight on the bus in order to get the bus back in time for the wedding. Now I doubt the wedding was rush booked in the last couple of days so I really don't see why someone's else's happy event should impact whatsoever on the advertised itinerary and twenty or so passengers. A big fat 1/10. The driver and guide was called Ted and to his credit he was very knowledgeable, informative and witty. But the tour did not provide the service it had advertised. And that's bad. Very bad. So to anyone else thinking of booking a trip, perhaps you might want to contact the tour operator and make sure the bus isn't needed later in the afternoon for a wedding/barmitzvah/funeral/cat's birthday..as all these will apparently take precedence over your paid for tour.

We apologize for any frustration. Thank you for letting us know. Normally, no other event conflicts with our tour, but yesterday we had an unusual situation with a wedding we had to accommodate. In order to accommodate that situation, and give everyone the full Rhode Island in a Day experience, we started your tour an hour early. We were able to give you the full experience, with the exception that you weren't able to get out at the final stop. On the other hand, your group was given more time in Newport than is usually given. We did our very best given the situation. Ted said you and your wife were a delight to have on board, and we really appreciate you joining us during your journey around New England. We sincerely hope you got a great feel for Rhode Island through the tour!
