Excellent city & excellent way to enjoy the spectacular veterans water fire event! Book early! Shoes off the architecture & all the people just enjoy the river... 10/10!

What a special way to enjoy the amazing experience that is WaterFire! I reserved a seat on the first fire boat and we followed along as the fires were being lit at sundown. It was absolutely spectacular to be up close enjoying the music and the sights and the energy. Booking the reservation was super easy and I appreciated all of the follow up emails with details about the tour. I highly recommend the Providence River Boat Company's WaterFire boat ride as a way to enhance your experience of WaterFire. Many thanks to the entire staff for such a wonderful experience!

There is no better way to experience Water Fire than by boat, and the Providence River Boat Company will bring you up close and personal to this truly unique event. Just sit back, relax, listen to the music, and be prepared to to be transported. On a small boat in the middle of a city, you are apt to have an emotional reaction to the wonderful combination of those two basic elements: fire and water.

We have done this before and loved it so we brought two other couples this time who had not been to Waterfire. They loved it as much as we did. As always, the people signing you in and assisting you onto the boat were very helpful. What a great evening to dine in downtown Providence (Parkside Rotisserie was fabulous) and then walk over to the basin to get on the boat. You need to do this!

Unfortunately it rained on us it was very windy, but the play of fire light on the water was fascinating. We did it close to one of the burners I would just push the fire towards us. We were in no danger, but teen daughter was startled and said the fire was trying to eat her food.

Wonderful experience. Be there earlier than your boat time so you see the opening ceremony. Also, so you find the launch area. Once you're in the ricer circle go to the lower right by the Union tunnel. Hard to find in the crowd.

Thanks for the informative review of our WaterFire rides! We couldn't agree with you more regarding our location: come early and enjoy the opening ceremony before your ride. It is challenging to find us in the crowds, which is why we always stress coming earlier than you think, so that nobody is late, and we can ALL enjoy the night! Thanks again, much appreciated.

We chartered a boat for a two-hour private Birthday party. Everyone had a blast and it was a super fun idea for a small celebration!! I highly recommend this for your next celebration!
