This was an enjoyable and informative tour of Tucson’s historic downtown. Jim’s love of Tucson and respect for its rich history is evident. Everything about the way the tour was conducted seemed efficient and well thought out, from the safety talk, to the pace of the ride, the rest stop, and the inclusion of many points of interest, even though there was only a brief time at each stop. I thought it was a fabulous introduction to the city. I even liked the one-speed Dutch bikes; they’re super easy to ride and fit the pace just fine.

Jim was very gracious to our 8 year old that was on the tour with us. Bike was a little too tall for her and he patiently taught her how to use scooter method to start and pedal method to stop. He kept a close eye on her to keep her safe and she was so proud of how she did. A really nice way to see the city and get some hot spots to check out. I only wish we would have done it earlier during our week long vacation in Tucson! Appreciated that he had water for us so no need for backpack. Also stopped for empanadas and bathroom break about 2/3 way through ride. Lemon empanada was yum yum!

This is a very enjoyable and informative tour. The bike riding is quite level and easy with frequent stops to receive information from the tour guide. This was my second bike tour with Tucson Bike Tours and I enjoyed it very much again.

Very good overview of downtown and historic Tucson with knowledgeable guide. From sitting in a steam engine to Wyatt Earp to John Dillinger interesting historical tidbits that made a good tour.

Enjoyed the historic sites and bike ride, however the bike seats are not comfortable enough for biking 8 miles. It would have been helpful to have at least 3 speeds for the hills. The guide was lacked enthusiasm doing his job.

This tour gave us a great overview of Tucson’s historic neighborhoods. Our personable guide Jim was very knowledgeable and as we stopped at points of interest along our route, he readily shared many interesting tidbits. My husband and I definitely recommend this tour!!!!

I often use TripAdvisor to find tours. I always read the reviews and take into consideration that everyone's experience and expectations will be different. As for the tour itself, I think it was informative to a degree and we did see several interesting sights (the highlight was the mural at the end). One suggestion is that if the guide tells the group in advance about something, then perhaps stop at that point instead of riding by and pointing at it. In a group of 6, only the front 2 people could see this e.g. biggest tree For our group, the tour was just "ok".

Both of these bike tours were a fabulous way to experience and learn about Tucson. Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable, the biking was safe, and the food on the Taco Tour was fabulous. We would highly recommend both of these tours!

It was a great way to get to know Tucson history as well as current state of city. Appreciated touring and gaining some understanding of various historic barrios. Jim was very informative and led us around town very safely.

Horrible experience from start to finish...
Guide did not adhere to biking laws.
Group had 10 plus one Guide.
Guide's information on Tucson's amazing history was absolutely inaccurate based on Guide's own bias.
Finally, Guide took tour into the Barrio Historic Neighborhood with little regard for the people living there. During the tour there a male in Truck yelled at group to leave and go back to your own neighborhood "The Barrio does not want you here'. Finally, truck turned sharply barely missing me as I tried to keep up the the guide.
Guide did not adhere to biking laws.

I agree - email or phone the owner. Tucson is dog friendly, but this is a tour in an urban area. The bikes have smallish bags on the handlebars. Even if your pup could fit into one of them, 8 pounds of potentially restless puppy on the handlebars could be dangerous to you, to the pup and to the other riders. Balance is key, especially when going over curbs, around turns (several of them rather sharp) and across railroad tracks.
Hi, we are also interested in going in March, end of the month. What type of temps should we expect? I am figuring the 9 oclock is probably the best time to book, might be chilly, also could be a little early for my crew, still considering it though. What is the second best time in your opinion? The 12 noon or the 3 o'clock? How long is the tour?

I liked the 9am start time on Saturday because there was very little traffic to contend with. The temps were in the low 50s. Jimmy gave us light gloves to wear which was nice. Once you start peddling you warm up fast.
