Guide was extremely knowledgeable and could answer any question about Salem. The images projected on the sites made the tour engaging and spooky. Unique stories about the history of the area, not just ghost tales

Rory was a passionate , informative, and entertaining tour guide. He was well researched and very personable. I learned so much about Salems history with a bit of supernatural stories mixed in. It began to rain during our tour but Rory kept the crowd engaged with his incredible story telling despite the weather. I highly recommend the Magic Lantern Tour with Rory.

Rory was excellent! Definitely had his facts straight and has done the research with original documents unlike a lot of other night tours. Had many interesting things to say and the lantern was great!

As a Salem resident and one-man show, Rory O'Brien knows the back alleys and intriguing stories about Salem. His storytelling style and Magic Lantern projections provide the history while letting Salem's own special aura shine through. His tour not only takes you to the places where events happened but also provides visuals so you get a deeper understanding of the people involved and what they experienced (witchcraft! murder! wrong side of the law!).
I'd definitely recommend Salem On Foot Walking Tours. After all, there are so many tours and tour guides in Salem, especially in October. You want someone who has done the research and can answer your questions, not someone relying on a script.

Rory was amazing, very friendly and informational. He took us to all the hot spot areas as well as was patient in all the questions we asked. Highly recommend!

Informative and easy to follow. And the group wasn't a sea of strangers unlike a lot of other tours. Plus, projector.

Enjoyed the tour very much. Was nice to here the history without the all ghost story. Using the latern showed pictires of history and have more meaning to the information that occured there. Would reccomend.

On my booking, it is said that you need to be 18 to participate but I don t see anyting about it on the site. So does my 15 years old teen can participate?
