Worthwhile for history buffs
Definitely a worthwhile tour, especially if you like history, architecture, and/or religion. I’d say the tour is best enjoyed by folks who haven’t been to the area before as it gives a lot of background on the history of San Antonio. Only suggestion is that the tour be tightened up a bit…it really doesn’t take 3.5 hours to see the missions.

Historical Importance of San Antonio Missions

I highly recommend the tour. Each of the sites have something unique and interesting to add to the experience. Our guide did a good overview of the history of the Mission period and also pointed out local landmarks of interest. He gave us a little free time at each of the sites to explore on our own.

Fantastic Historical Tour of UNESCO Missions in San Antonio

Excellent tour with Alex of the 4 missions. He gave a lot of historical information and the Gray Line van was very comfortable. Great experience. Highly recommend. It was the perfect length of about 3 hours.

Beautiful & Interesting Mission Tour

We loved the Missions tour. Our guide was excellent and the history behind the building of the Missions and the different beauty of each was well worth the tour. My wife and I would definitely do the tour again next time we are in San Antonio.

Historical gem
Very informative visit with an excellent guide. Comfortable bus that picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. We were contacted the morning before with pick up time.

Disappointed and Frustrated

Hard to rate the experience when NO ONE PICKED US UP. I called but it's a third party situation and I received no help. The guide said they were at my hotel to pick us up but we waited 1.5 hours and nothing. There was no driver. We confirmed our pick up location.
