We had an amazing experience! Peter made sure and showed us the things that we had wanted to see and things that we were interested in! The entire tour met our needs and he was so knowledgeable. We would come back and do it again.

This was just the icing on the cake for us! Peter took us around all the back roads and so many things we had missed the previous couple of days. Definitely recommend a tour with him! My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed all the stories and history about the area coming from someone who grew up here well worth it!

Best thing we did in Newport!

Peter “aka dusty” was an incredible guide! He had a thorough knowledge of Newport’s history and took us around the entire island! He was very personable and it was fun hearing from a native Newport resident!

This local tour buy a local resident is your best bet!

Peter was a wonderful tour guide! As a local, he was able to show us things and explain things that you wouldn't. Ordinarily get in the commercial tours. The tour was entertaining, educational, and insightful.

Relaxing Tour

Peter was on time, knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed his tour very much. I recommend taking the tour for the sights but also to get the lay of the land. It will make the rest of your stay easier.

Great hit the highlights tour!!

My husband and I wanted a "highlight of Newport" tour and that is exactly what we got with Peter. He showed us essentially all of Newport in 2 hours and gave us all the info we needed to get a feel of the city. He is very knowledgeable and as a native knew some interesting behind the scene facts. We visited all of the area neighborhoods and now understand enough to go out on our own. Very personable and funny. Perfect if you are not big tour group kind of person!!

No tour, no refund
2022年10月
We were to visit Newport on Oct 3 2022 as part of a cruise itinerary. Had reserved this tour weeks before and paid $150.00 for the two of us. When the ship arrived at Newport, the seas were too rough to be tendered in to the port and that stop was cancelled by the cruise Captain. Rough seas were remnants of Hurricane Ian. We immediately called the tour operator (two hours before the scheduled start time) to inform that we could not meet for the tour (left message on voicemail) asking for a refund, Were advised later by e-mail that there would be no refund. This seems extremely unfair as these circumstances were entirely outside of our control and were weather related. So, if the tour operator has the ability to cancel for weather related reasons, why wouldn't it apply to us as well? Be careful if you book a tour through this operator.

Sorry the industry policies seem unfair to you, as written in the Tour description. We have these in place to survive as a small business. We do refund due to illness or worse. As you were told, we will honor your tickets indefinitely to you or to your relatives. Thanks for understanding and again, sorry if you don't. Either way, Best health! Insider's tour of wonderful Newport
