Our tour guide, Johnny, was the best. Very knowledgeable and kept us laughing the whole time. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the island of Oahu.

This was a very enjoyable tour. This long guided tour takes us through a lot of locations that we have never knew about or had an inkling to check out on our own. We never spent too much time in any one location but what this tour does is gives us an opportunity to see what the island has to offer so that on our return we know which spots we want to spend more time in as we visit them in our own. This tour is basically a photo op tour. We could easily spend 2-3 hours at each stop but that would either make the tour 16 hours long or the other option is to see see less locations. I didn’t mind the short 10-20 minute photo stops. Our favorite stops were Huanama Bay and Nuuanu Pali Lookout.
Our tour guide Johnny was fantastic. He was super cool, funny, knowledgeable, personable, had great trivia for us about each location (even personal stories which I thought were great), and had great recommendations for photos or to just experience some of the local attractions and flavors. It’s too bad the rest of the people on the tour were a low energy and boring group of people and were not the type to engage with Johnny or his antics. I thought he was very entertaining. I probably would not do this tour again simply because Johnny showed us some really cool spots that we want to visit on our own with a rental car and spend more substantial time in.
I do recommend this for first timers on Oahu.

Let me start off by saying that this is my FIRST EVER review. First off, the tour began 30 mins late. We were patient. The tour guide was rude while collecting our names. He asked everyone where they were from and made a comment about not speaking Spanish. Most of our family being from New Mexico.
After the tour began, guide explained about the island. At the second stop, a lady with a puppy in Hawaiian gear approached my daughter and son-in-law as we were boarding the bus and delayed them by 30 seconds. Next stop, macadamia farm, son-in-law was in line to pay and was back to the bus 1 min late. Guide made sure the family knew he had a second strike against him. He asked, “Did he get deported?” To which, we were all a bit dumbfounded. Again, we let it go.
The next stop was unscheduled but he stopped us anyway. He did not give us a time to board but told us it was a quick stop. Son-in-law ordered a shaved ice. The guide started making a big deal about running late, guide threatened to leave my daughter and son-in- law behind, said that my son-in-law was making the tour about himself and began asking the other passengers if they were okay losing time at the beach. The other family members contemplated getting off the bus along with the other 2, whom were completely unaware that our tour guide was threatening to leave them behind. There was an exchanging of words with our group and the guide. From that moment on, our time on the tour was even less enjoyable. From this point on, our family got off and on the bus together. The discomfort was palpable.
During the tour, the guide made some very disrespectful and disturbing comments towards a mom who was on the tour with her two children and mom. He continually made comments about a child who was having a rough day and was crying. That family also almost left the tour at one point. The guide made many rude comments about tourists.
Save your money. There is no need to feel rushed, mistreated and disrespected on your vacation.

My apologies for your tour experience. However, this review is not for Roberts Hawaii - Grand Circle Island Tour. Our tour doesn't stop at the beach or for Shave Ice. You can check with your booking agent, Viator or Trip advisor for the Tour company that provide this unacceptable experience.

This a BUS TOUR! You spend more time on the bus than at any sites. When you do stop, you get 10 minutes to look around. Two stops were tourist traps and not very interesting. At one point, we were on the bus for 90 minutes straight. If you are looking to really see the island and not the inside of a bus, I don’t recommend this tour.

Mahalo for your review. Yes, this is a bus tour with stops at several locations. Getting from Dole Plantation to Polynesian Culture Center is between 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. Sorry that it took longer on your tour. again, mahalo for your review.

Toured around island and stopped at Dole plantation Macadamia nut farm and for lunch. Our guide John was very informative and full of humor. The bus was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this tour.

This tour is a full day tour. We were picked up timely at our hotel and Cousin John was our driver. He drove safely throughout the day and sprinkled in some humor throughout as well. We visited multiple places during this tour. Some stops we had as little as 10 minutes to visit. Our lunch stop was about 1 1/2 hours. The one place I feel could have been skipped was Waimanalo Town. It was more a strip mall to me than anything worth visiting. I would have rather had that 30 minutes for more time at the Dole Plantation, as our stop there was only about 20 minutes. (Or maybe an actual stop at the North Shore).
Over all we really enjoyed this tour and would do again for sure!

Enjoyed our excursion full day and we saw all the landmarks. Prompt pickup only downside is a lot of stops at gift shops which are all similar. Food at the ranch however would have much preferred stop at Polynesian village for lunch which apparently has a number of food trucks on site. Ranch was nice but really only worth a visit if you have time to stay and checkout the activities on offer

Hello. When I try to book this tour, it gives me two options. One for "guests staying in the Kahala Resort," and one for "guests staying in Waikiki hotels." If I am not staying in either of these, can I still book the tour? Is it possible to be picked up at the hotel I will be staying at?
