It was a unique and beautiful experience!
The organization went smoothly and especially my driver (Kani) was incredibly nice and helpful! Would book a tour or ride with him again at any time!
The safari itself was also great. Experience elephants and other animals in the wild is a great experience. Under Safari Guide was also super friendly and was able to show us lots of animals and impart knowledge about them.
An all-round successful day!

Super organized safari tour. Already after booking we received via WhatsApp the time of pickup at the hotel with additional information about car and driver. Our driver Suranga was on time. At Udawalawe National Park the jeep was already waiting for us. We had a private tour alone in the jeep. Our driver Darmasiri from Max Safari Villa drove us through the park, alerted us to the partially hidden animals, stopped long enough so that we could watch and photograph the animals in peace. In particular, he also took care not to disturb the animals. At the end of the tour our taxi with driver Suranga was already waiting for us and brought us back to our accommodation in Weligama. We can absolutely recommend the tour!

Great Safari despite the rain.

It was Perfect SaFAri tour In my life ever. Udawala safari tour Sri Lanka is best best place to visit . Tour guides were hospitable and have great information about Sri Lankan Safari places with much knowledge about habitats of animals. Elephants were most beautiful animals to see live grassing, walking and some time looks talking with us. Must visit here. We are ready to go next time in our holiday. Because don't want to waste my holidays if I am not visiting udawalava safari tour. Thanks guides again

Es war extrem Praktisch und unglaublich aufregend! Wir wurden im Hotel in Weligama abgeholt, haben vor dem Safari noch zu Mittag gegessen und sind dann in den Jeep eingestiegen. Die Eintrittskarten waren im Preis inkludiert und wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern. Der erfahrene Fahrer wusste genau, worauf man achten muss. D.h. Er hat an den Richtigen Stellen Ausschau gehalten und wir haben selbst kleine „Bee eater“ mehrmals gesehen und eine Art Chamäleon (höchstens 15 cm Groß) auch nicht verpasst. Ein Elefant hat >10 min für uns posiert und ist anschließend friedlich auf uns zugelaufen. Der Fahrer ist ihm erst in letzter Sekunde ohne den Motor einzuschalten ausgewichen (Handbremse weg, rückwärts den Hügel runter). Ich fand es total lässig, dass er das Tier nicht erschrocken hat. Es sind die coolsten Fotos entstanden :) Die Rückfahrt war genau so entspannt. Echt empfehlenswert!!!

We went to the safari with our 15-month old boy and it was a great experience, absolutely worthwhile! The car drive to the national park took around 2-2.5hrs. The driver was great, driving very safely, had a baby seat and also offered us some water and fruits during the drive. Then we transferred to the jeep and started the safari. The naturalist guiding us through the park chose an itinerary that would go through the main roads so it’s not too shaky because of our child. We managed to see all the animals we were hoping for in our 2.5hrs safari: elephants, water buffalos, crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys, wild boars and dears… absolutely amazing and unforgettable to see them from so close! Our son liked it too a lot. Arranging of the trip with Lakpura agency was also very convenient and professional, eth over whatsapp, they would accommodate all our requests and made sure eth was as promised. Payment was online so we didn’t need to have cash which was also more convenient. I can only recommend it to anyone that is in Weligama for few days, even with a very energetic toddler ;)
