Amazing experience, the valley is stunning with incredible views and waterfalls.
The trek itself is challenging but very doable of you have a reasonable level of fitness and have appropriate clothes and footwear.
The accommodation is quaint but very clean and cosy, adding to the experience of the trek. There is plenty of food at all the meals we were provided, which consisted of lots of brazilian home style cooking.
The guides are friendly and professional, know all the spots and guarantee your party will have a great time! This is a trek you can do as a solo traveller, as a couple or as a small group as there were all sorts on the trek and it was a great opportunity to meet fellow travellers from Brazil and other countries too!

Dieses traumhafte Trekking hatte genau das Abenteuer ein der Natur, das wir uns innerhalb unserer Brasilienreuse gewünscht haben. In 3 Tagen erlebten wir traumhafte Aussichten, Wasserfälle, Diversität, Abgeschottenheit, körperliche Grenzen, neue Begegnungen und Freundschaften, kulturelle Bereicherung und soooo vieles mehr. Unser Guide (Gabriel) war fürsorglich, emphatisch, vorbereitet, zuverlässig, unglaublich lustig und wissend. Es hätte niemand besser machen können.

Fizemos a travessia em 5 dias e 4 noites. Caminhada espetacular. Os guias foram muitos atenciosos às necessidades do grupo, não hesitando em prestar auxílio nos momentos de maior dificuldade, que são muitos. Um destaque muito especial para a alimentação fornecida nas casas de apoio, e também, pelos guias durante os deslocamentos.

This trek was so great. The trek has some climbs but overall anyone can do the hike! Our accommodations and food through out the trek were above our standard for being in the mountains, we even had showers!
My boyfriend and I did this hike with a guide, Gabriel. He was by far the best guide I have had. His English was excellent, he knew a lot about the mountains plants and wildlife and had a great sense of humor! Despite the rain Gabriel helped make it the best time we had on our trip! We hope to see him again someday! I highly recommend this company and Gabriel if you are thinking about doing this hike!

Experiência transformadora! Nesses dias tivemos momentos incríveis, com uma Natureza exuberante, contato com os moradores que nos receberam de braços abertos. A expedição foi um sucesso pois tivemos a SORTE de ter o Melhor guia da Chapada Diamantina: Beto, que nos guardou em todos os momentos. Nos ensinou muito sobre a flora e fauna do local. Sem contar que fomos a locais que nenhum outro guia conhecia. A Diamantina mountains, agencia que escolhemos foi sensacional tbm, pois a organização é impecável. Enfim amamos tudo❤️🙏🏻

A agencia me deu todo suporte e segurança, o guia, Beto, foi super atencioso, cuidadoso e manja muito de toda a extensão do Vale.

Vale do Pati é magico e sem duvida foi o melhor da chapada, eu iria só para o pati se tivesse poucos dias pois lá se encontra a verdadeira beleza da diamantina.
Fizemos 3 dias e 2 noite e a melhor parte foi estar no meio do pati no conforto da casa dos nativos que mais parece uma pousada de luxo visto o local onde se localiza. Além da comida que é sensacional, cerveja gelada, vinho e tudo para deixar as noites para a resenha do dia.
A Agencia cuidou de tudo nos detalhes e foi como combinado e nosso guia Tomas foi mto atencioso, em relação a trilha, sao cerca de 50km no total com mta subida e descida, a minha recomendação é que tenha o mínimo de condicionamento físico, não recomendo para pessoas sedentárias pois pode ser mais sofrimento do que curtição.

Me, my brother and my parents did the Pati Valley trek with Diamantina Mountains this August. We look back on 3 splendid days we will never forget ☺️ Absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to Brazil!
Our guide Thomas was the kindest guide you could wish for, we had a great time with him. Pieter organized everything well before the trip and was very communicative and helpful.
Make sure to bring the things Pieter puts on your packing list, but don't worry. Hikes can be tough but with good weather perfectly doable for fit people.
If you like hiking, do this trek, you will not regret!
Our guide Thomas was the kindest guide you could wish for, we had a great time with him. Pieter organized everything well before the trip and was very communicative and helpful.
