Our trip went as planned, without any inconvenience. We had an excellent guide who told us many interesting things about the rainforest and the animals that live in it. He observes very good, he showed us many animals - monkeys, snakes, rare species of birds and butterflies... The only inconvenience, which is unfortunately unavoidable, are leeches.

Le guide sur place était vraiment top, nous sommes allés à la cascade et en marchant il m’a montré des caméléons et des serpents.
Le chauffeur taxi était vraiment très gentil, comme nous étions en avance il m’a amené à une plantation de thé et au fort de Galle!
Franchement c’est à faire! J’ai même pu me baigner dans la cascade!
Petit conseil si vous faites cette excursion : il vaut mieux mettre un pantalon et des chaussettes hautes.

Es war ein richtig tolles Erlebnis und alles war super organisiert! Es war meine erste Buchung über TripAdvisor und ich bin mehr als begeistert! 🤩 es lief alles ohne Probleme und auf all unsere Wünsche wurde Rücksicht genommen! Definitiv 5 Sterne ⭐️

Der Trip begann um 8 Uhr morgens mit einer pünktlichen Pick Up time.
Die Tour war unglaublich schön und man hat viele Tiere und Pflanzen gesehen.
Leider war das Wetter gegen später nicht mehr ganz so gut, sodass man nicht im Wasserfall baden konnte, aber insgesamt war die Tour sehr toll und der Guide hat alles super erklärt

Our driver picked us up early and drove us 100km north, along winding roads through villages with dogs sleeping in the road around every corner.
Eventually we arrived at the Sinharaja Forest Reserve where we met our guide and after a short tuk tuk ride, commenced our three hour trek through the rain forest.
The humidity was insane and we were quickly soaked. The flora and fauna made it worth it though.
On arrival, the guide rubbed rock salt into our shoes to deter the leeches, which was semi-successful.
We saw peacocks, water buffalo, butterflies, eagles, millipedes, fish owl, lizards, fish and a green viper. I said ‘that looks pretty small’ but was then informed a bite can kill you!
Walking behind my wife and watching her jump at every twig thinking it was a snake was one of my highlights!
Also saw durian fruit, jack fruit, cinnamon, white pepper, wild pineapple, and coffee beans before stopping for a provided lunch at a waterfall.
On the drive home, after passing many cows roaming free, we stopped at the Lumbini tea plantation where we were lucky enough to be given a private tour of the factory.
Recommended.

We had an amazing trip. It was well organised, we got supplied with water and a filling lunch. The guides were amazing and ready to answer random questions about Sri Lanka. The hiking guide was amazing at spotting animals in the distance. If it weren't for him we would have missed a lot. Also a very interesting visit to the tea plantage.
Overall, a perfect day in the rain forest. Can highly recommend!

We were picked up from a hotel in nice air conditioner car, driver showed us many interesting things on the way like cotton trees, peacocks and we even saw a Monitor lizard.
Forest is very beautiful and wild, it feels like you're walking in sauna)) we got to hang on lianas and hug 600-years old trees. Most of the lizards were sleeping during the day's heat but we got to see some snakes, green lizards, tiny frogs, butterflies and fish.
We cooled our legs in beautiful waterfall (you can swim there too) and had our lunch there.
Guide got us the park's gate on Tuk Tuk and we walked in the forest to the waterfall and back.
Very beautiful nature and good tour organization!

Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day.
One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.
