Fantastic hiking tour of Hvar's countryside! There was just me and my husband and our guide Josko on our tour hence was very friendly and interesting, without having to slow down for a large group of people. The lavender was beautiful but the trip was much more than this. Josko was a very friendly, interesting and informative guide. He told us about different flowers and herbs and their uses, also about the old villages and about the history of Hvar and Croatia.
At the end of the hike we visited a lovely beach for a very refreshing swim

We had an amazing time hiking with Josko. Beautiful views, nice walk. We learned so much about the history of Hvar and Croatia. If you are good hikers and love nature, this is the trip for you. Our highest recommendation: excellent!

We where expecting a tour to some lavender fields but it was so much more, it exceeded our expectations by far! The tourguide Tibor was so nice and knew so much about the island and the way they used to live here. Learned a lot about the island and its history. Definitely recommended, we had a lot of fun!

We took Hvar Lavender Tour in the very beginning of July. This was a great choice for this year, because lavender was still blossoming. However, even if it isn't in bloom the tour is still worth to take. The hiking path leads through picturesque landmarks. While walking we enjoyed beautiful views and sounds of nature. Moreover, it isn't difficult to go because most of the way you get down.
Additional many thanks to our guide Tibor, who not only showed us this path, but also provide us with a lot of interesting information about Hvar, its habitants, history and nature.
So we had a great time in Hvar and can recommend Lavender Tour to everyone who loves exploring new natural places.

We loved our hike, and we had an amazing tour guide in Tibor! He was incredibly knowledgeable about nature, animals, culture of the island, and more. We could have chatted all day with him about Hvar to be honest!
As for the hike itself, we were out before the lavender plants were in bloom, but we had an amazingly beautiful walk along the water and cliffs, and then through vineyards and olive groves. The real highlight was walking through the abandoned village at the end of the tour. Truly a magical and atmospheric experience!
Would 100% recommend for anybody and the hike definitely isn’t too demanding!

we will be in Hvar on a cruise on August 21. It is a medium size ship (Azamara Quest) and I am not sure where it docks. We are supposed to arrive by 8 a.m. We would really like to do the Lavender tour and hike. Can you pick us up or suggest how we could get to the bus station to meet the group. Many thanks! Sorry we didn't see your message before... :-)
It is the easiest for us, if you send the booking request over our wsite (hiking - hvar . com). We'll provide you then with all needed information in e-mail. Cruisers in Hvar doesn't dock - they use a tender boats to bring the passengers to the harbor (it is too small for a cruiser). Hvar bus station is about 5-7min walking distance from the docking place (about 500 m).
