We were a group of 6 ladies and we did the 1/2 day Southern Corfu tour including the beautiful village of Chlomos and Halikounas Beach. We also visited an Olive Oil producer and had a great time there learning how they make olive oil and tasting it of course. We had lunch at a traditional taverna - eating delicious moussaka with an amazing view! It's a great tour, you see lots and it really gives you a sense of the island.
But it was our amazing guide/driver, Ioannis, that really made the tour so special. He was extremely knowledgeable about the various places we visited and kept us all entertained throughout the trip, making sure we had loads of photos. We had such a brilliant time and he absolutely made our day. Thank you Ioannis!

Fantastic half day trip. Highlight of our holiday.
Sakis was a wonderful guide bringing us first to Chlomos, a village in the mountains where the views are gorgeous. It is a little eerie as it is practically deserted but then we finish with Greek coffee in a cafe with a very chatty and entertaining owner :)
Then on to a local vineyard. This family has given up other jobs to grow the original Corfu vines that have nearly vanished. Lovely people and lovely wine tasting.
Visited Lake Korisson where the flamingoes did not oblige us with a viewing, visited various beaches and through olive groves before reaching ‘The Governor’. Very informative tour and olive oil tasting. Really interesting.
Finished off with lunch in Sofia’s Taverna. Authentic moussaka and fabulous views.
Compliments to Sakis who was extremely knowledgeable about the island, was very professional and friendly.
Would highly recommend this tour and looking forward to coming back to Corfu again to do the Northwest tour.

My wife and myself are currently holidaying in Benitses (staying at the recently opened Angsana Corfu Hotel) and we have just returned from a most enjoyable Jeep Safari Xperience to the South of the Island.
Besides all the various places and sites that we saw during the 5 hour trip, the undoubted highlight was the good fortune of having the services of Sakis as our driver/guide. He is not only very good company and an excellent driver but most knowledgeable and adaptable (replacing both the Olive Oil & Wine Tasting elements from our itinerary.
The highlights of the tour were the visit to Chlomos Village (besides being a charming - largely uninhabited - Village it has some of the best views on the Island) and the delicious lunch we enjoyed at the Romantic Palace Hotel/Restaurant on the popular Agios Gordias Beach.
All in all, it was a great experience and one that I would strongly recommend to other visitors interested in getting to know either the South or the North West of the Island better.

We set off from the hotel to a small village for Greek coffee and cake stunning views across the whole of the island places that you could never find on your own. Then on to the Korrision lake See the flamingos, Deserted beaches and fishermen. Then a tour of the famous olive factory that produces the Governor Olive Oil,for tasting and to learn some history of how the olive oil is produced, And the special methods used at this factory today. Then lunch what a beautiful hillside Taverna overlooking the west coast of Corfu with stunning views. Then We drove through the olive groves which seem to go on for miles.Then kumquat tasting, What a great trip thank you to saki our driver and guide so friendly and knowledgeable.
