Regarding the issue you mention about the extra 3 euros for the volcano, it is because visiting the volcano is not possible for everyone. If someone has health problems it would be good not to visit the volcano, that's why the 3 euros are being paid at the entrance. Regarding the number of people onboard, the ship may have a lot of people but never more than its normal capacity as there are strict laws about that in Greece.
