We booked this trip through TUI Cruises and did not regret it, the travel companion was in German which was pleasant for many guests.
The bus driver was already admirable how he mastered the steep roads and driving close to the abyss.
Should you have seen who has the possibility can book locally although that did not differ from our price, we had a pro fare so 20 percent discounted in advance.

Great tour, both driver and bus. Unfortunately we didn't go down the Troll road which was closed due to fog. Some interesting stops along the way but no designated stop for lunch, even on our own. Guide bought us strawberries from the side of the road which was really nice of her.

Tour was well organized, despite the weather not cooperating and the government closing the Troll Road. The tour company kept me informed of changes to the tour and was very easy to locate at the meet-up location.

The scenery was fantastic & the substitution of the gorge because the troll road was closed provided amazing views.
Our tour guide was Sylvia. Sylvia is very pleasant & personable. She added to our enjoyment of the tour

I paid for and booked a private tour bus of 15pax. The actual bus had a slightly higher seat capacity which was great but disappointing as I could have organised more people for less cost per person.
The meeting spot wasn’t clear. It said 100m up from the railway but it was in a car park just past the Gondola.
The tour was excellent and we had more than sufficient time to see and do everything. I would highly recommend the private tour but you have to be prepared to pay the full amount up front.

Other reviews described this exactly. Met outside the museum and after movie headed up the road. Great driver and guide. A bit misty on day we went but cleared for a while while we were climbing and at top. Then headed down to the base of the Troll Wall with lots of info about that.
Less than 100 meters from pier so easy walk.
Great trip and we would certainly do it again!

Meeting point easy to find just outside the Mountaineering Museum and the station. Guide clearly visible in yellow jackets with Norway Excursions. First we saw a short but entertaining film about the Trolls and surrounding area and then we went on a thrilling ride up the Trollstigen Road with stops to view the Stigfossen waterfall. Then up to the Trollstigen plateau to see the amazing view. Time was a bit limited and the climb down to the last viewing platform was a bit hard going, but worth the effort. I wouldn't advise anyone with disabilities to try it, as there are lots of steps and it was a bit slippery with the rain. Then on to the Troll Wall with its near vertical cliffs. The guide was excellent and kept us entertained the whole time and most of all, the driver was highly experienced and I never felt worried. Overall excellent tour and a bargain compared to other tours.

My husband and I have booked this tour with Norway Excursions, Andalsnes Trollstigen departing at 9.30am on July 10 and also another tour to Geiranger Dalsnibba departing at 12noon on July 4. We chose to be picked up at the cruise terminal (Security Gate). We will be arriving by Cunard Queen Elizabeth and both ports require tender. Please clarify if there is one only cruise terminal in Geiranger and Andalsnes and after we have tendered onto the land, we will then go through the security gate, and the tour guide with “Norway Excursion” sign will meet us right at the cruise terminal after we go through the security, and the meeting time will be at 9.30am, July 4 at Geiranger and 12 noon, July 10 at Andalsnes.
I did send this enquiry using the contact form on your website three times and was told that I would get the answer within 24 hours. However, it doesn't seem right because II still haven’t heard back from anyone at Norway Excursion.
Can I please have the answer within 24 hours as was mentioned on the auto-reply to my enquiry. Please note that we will be travelling out from our country soon and may not have internet connection after then. Your prompt reply will be appreciated. Thank you.
