We did the sherry and tapas tour with Carlos and also a day hike in El Estrecho and tour of Baelo Claudia. He also set us up to spend a half day in Aracena to see the Iberian pigs and how the ham is processed. Carlos is a great guy, well organised and his communication was fantastic. Just do it! Spend some time in beautiful Vejer and El Estrecho with Carlos. It is one of our highlight days of our month long trip in Andalusia! Thanks Carlos!

Excellent! Definitely recommend! We did a custom tour with Carlos which included a sherry tasting. We told him of our interest in history and of previous visits to the area. Carlos knows his history well. We did not have a car and he picked us up in Cádiz. He took us to the beautiful village of Vejer de la Frontera. (not our first white village but the most beautiful) He told us much about the history and accommodated our interest in a small shop of old radios. The big eye opener was the visit to a Sherry bodega. This sherry tasting opened my eyes and we tasted something not experienced before. It was a small operation but produced sherries that I am still raving about with food pairings that were perfect .

Vejer has so much to offer and the sherry bodega it is beautiful hidden gem that I think it must visit As you were saying it is an incredible experience and ver uncommon to be able to taste a 90 year old oloroso, a 50 year old palo cortado, and more!

Set in the gorgeous town of Vejer de la Frontera, this tour includes delicious and varied tapas, perfectly matched with different types of sherry. Carlos is very passionate and knowledgeable about food and sherry but also about lots of other subjects, always willing to share information. I would highly recommend this tour. And I would have no hesitation in contacting him again to book one of his "ruta de senderismo"

This was SUCH a fun evening. Tapas and lots of different sorts of sherry in a fantastic tasting form / we had ours in one venue but you can also do it as a tour of lots of venues - Carlos is charming and so knowledgeable. Don’t miss this incredibly fun and informative way to spend an evening!

Carlos had been recommended to us by friends who had enjoyed one of his tours recently. Booking was very easy and we were contacted swiftly to confirm arrangements.
We received a warm welcome in Plaza de España & were invited to confirm our knowledge of Sherry, which, as near novices, meant we got the full rundown on its origins, cultivation & fermentation.
Wandering around the walled town, sampling 5 varieties with accompanying tapas along the way was a great introduction to Vejer & some of it’s history. Carlos’s passion for sherry ensured we learned a lot more about it but his warm personality also allowed us to have a conversation about other mutual interests such as travel.
We highly recommend joining one of these tours.

We had a great time in Vejer de la Frontera where we decided to take this tour to discover the town, the guide was recommended by a friend of us, so we were sure we would hit the target with this trip!
We felt it was very well organized and saw a lot of places in only two days (Molinos de Vejer, Arcos de la Frontera, Grazalema…) with wine and food tasting, hiking and more relaxing moments.
The guide takes you to great places to eat, which are not tourist orientated. As a French person I was surprised by Carlos' wine knowledge and I still have a fond memory for the bluefin tuna we ate the first night! Carlos is passionate, flexible and super friendly, we had good laughs with him!
I highly recommend this tour for foodies and Spanish culture lovers!

We took this tour with Carlos on a sunny July evening which was perfect. His knowledge of sherry/wine and the region is excellent. He made the tour fun and informative - without being too technical. It was such an enjoyable evening and fantastic way to see more of Vejer and learn about the history and dynamics of the area. We were still chatting until well after the tour ended. We’d highly recommend this tour. It is excellent value for money - we tasted five wines/sherry and the accompanying food was delicious. If you know a little or know a lot, you’ll throughly enjoy this experience. Mucho Gracias Alex

This is an absolutely fantastic tour - don't even hesitate, book book book! We wandered the beautiful streets of this picturesque village, sampling the most delicious tapas and sherry, and learning so much about pairing these from the brilliant Carlos. The food and drink are wonderful, but the knowledge, enthusiasm and passion that Carlos shows puts this tour as a definite must. Carlos also offers other tours - I will most definitely be back!

My best friend and I wanted a long weekend away in Spain but didn't want to go to the typical places. So we decided to visit this village (I can't recommend it enough - so beautiful). To make the most of our time we decided to do the Tapas and Sherry tour and it did not disappoint. The guide Carlos had so much knowledge and was so passionate about the food and drink. We learnt loads and left full (and tipsy)! Would definitely recommend.
