We have had our helicopter experience cancelled twice and we have paid for hotel twice which we was unable to get a refund on. We have small children so difficult to get child care. This experience was for special birthday last year and both times cancelled one day before. The worst service we have ever witnessed never ever book with these people I’m truly disgusted!!!! £500 later and no helicopter trip and wasted hotel nights!

We are sorry to see you are unsatisfied with our service.
We totally understand it is extremely frustrating when flights are postponed. We only ever postpone flights if we absolutely have to for the safety of the passengers which will always remain our number one priority, despite the minority who criticize this.
These flight experiences are dependent on many variables and as a result can be subject to postponement . We would always recommend proceeding with caution when making any hotel arrangements keeping in mind that flight be cancelled for any reason, including aircraft non-serviceability, poor weather, operational or public health reasons. We reiterate this point at every step throughout the booking process as well as in the conformation of your event in order to carefully manage expectations as much as we possibly can. We have a number of dates we could offer you however we understand these are not suitable for you. We will be adding further dates for your preferred location in the next 7 days and appreciate your patience.

A little nervous to begin with but the whole experience was superb and I loved it. Great ground crew at Manston in Kent who were wonderful and helpful explaining all you need to know. A small safety talk to start with and do's and dont's as expected.
Once onboard the helicopter you do get excited and the captain explains a few things but we quickly got going and started flying! Return to the airfield and swap round so each take turns at the joystick. Absolutely fabulous!!

Late cancellation, like a previous reviewer. Booked months in advance, via Virgin Experience, then a couple of days before told cancelled due to maintenance issues, BUT, they can accommodate us on a smaller helicopter for an additional £118!! This one was booked at Chobham, e-mail said we could re-book next year, but initially gave no vacant slots!! Finally got it organised, (no weekend slots available)but will have to see if they honour the booking or try and con more money out of us. Not feeling hopeful...................

Disappointed. We booked our flight 4 months in advance and we had to book day's off to be able to attend flight. 2 days before flight we got an email about postponed flight due to a maintenance. Because we had days off booked we had no option to reschedule. When we have arrived to airport, we had option still to flight but we had to pay extra £25 because helicopter had only 3 seats so we had to pay for 3rd empty seat. Unfortunately i can't recomend because ptocess takes to long and some planning but in the end you end up forced to pay extra.

Please don't waste your money , wouldn't refund me after nearly 8 months of waiting , booked Durham City, no longer do that no alternative given .was for my mam on mother's day .they ate out right refusing to give me my money back

Was an amazing experience. I loved every minute of it. Great to be sitting next to our brilliant pilot, Riayan, and being able to see all the views so clearly. I am still buzzing. Thank you

I booked this helicopter flight over London as a surprise for my wifes birthday.
It was a perfect day from check in to getting on board,the trip was amazing the ground crew were friendly, and Neil our pilot gave a super commentary along the way and back,and the lady photographer gave us the memory to take away.
I would recommend this experience to everyone.
My wife said it was awesome,and one of her presents she will never forget,I promised to take her back.
So well done all at North Weald Air Field,just keep doing what your doing.Thanks

Never went on the flight, booked at start of year, they cancelled due to weather, fair enough. Then cannot re-book for 6months+...… No reminders of booked date until 3 days before hand, realise that I can make it & they take away your money because you have not given 7 days notice.....complete rip-off & the gift that my family bought for me has been snatched away by poor practices designed to make you foul the 7 days notice rule....total scum....avoid at all costs
